I prefer this one so much more. Not just because I love Red Velvet's LP so much, but compared to the original Ice Cream track the instrumental for LP is actually going somewhere....I spent the whole time listening to Ice Cream waiting for it to go somewhere. Not even a beat drop but SOMETHING lol. But it just felt so static. This one flows great as well.

Blackpink has been hated for having beat drops on their song and ppl said they should try different and they tried different ppl are finding the old style lol
BLANKK BLANKK I didn’t necessarily ask for a beat drop though? I said “not even a beat drop” because that’s really not what I was expecting. I just wanted something to happen so that it would help the song have more depth. And I’m not hating either. I’ve been listening to the original as well in hopes that I actually start liking it. What I meant was that I wanted the instrumental to go somewhere. If it slowed down even more then it wouldn’t be bad. But the original was too static and just stayed the same the whole way through, which I thought didn’t really fit with how they were singing/rapping either but that’s just my opinion. I’m glad they had something other than a girl crush concept song but it feels like Teddy or whoever produced this didn’t even bother and gave them a generic instrumental. Which is unfair to the girls because they deserve better.

yeah I agre, ice cream's sound efects was very artificial for me and I think that they could do a better work at the song.... but the voices were amazing and I think that black pink and selena didn't have any blame because the music got finished like that

Honestly respect to Blackpink but this version is way better. The main reason I say this is because the instrumental of the original sounds like someone just took a beat pad, pressed 3 buttons and just put it on a loop in the background. It didn’t go with the vocal melody at ALL whereas the melody of LP just fits so much better. It compliments their voices perfectly. Big props to the creator for coming up with this. :)
LP is one of my favorite Red Velvet songs so I was already biased going into this, but it sounds so freaking good! Took a listen to the original and that instrumental sounds so sparse in comparison. This is so much more bubbly and cute and sweet, which fits the song better. You're a genius for making this remix. Listening to this on repeat.
