Since the drop of DCC Iâve been re listening through their whole discography and YIKES this album blows me away every single time. How they can have songs like itch and lover please stay on the same body of work and still have it feel like one cohesive masterpiece is just so insanely impressive. Not to mention this is their DEBUT it still shocks me to my CORE. Loved this reactionđ«¶đŒ

You still need to listen to Moral Panic II or Moral Panic Complete Edition. Theres 4 extra songs on there that are some of the bands best work full stop.
While each album since this release has been mega, it can easily be forgotten that this is a debut, released back in a time when heavy/alt rock was overshadowed by indie/folk pop rock. For a few lads from Southend, they nailed their sound and each album since has just been building up on the previous. Love them!

I'm pretty sure 'Lover, Please Stay' was written in the perspective of someone feeling like they're losing their loved one to depression. Wanting to provide whatever they need, yet feeling them slipping away.

our love for them come from first seeing them support Muse years ago too and thought wow, who are these guys and have been OBSESSED ever since. Seen them twice since them too and only again a little over a month ago :)

Cool reaction, they are such a fantastic band! Neon Brother is an absolute masterpiece and a fan favourite but they refuse to play it live, they hate it but nobody knows why đ€·đ»
