It's been a long time since I've released a video, and this one is fairly unique: Not only is it my first video on this channel, it is also my first video with commentary video alongside it! The commentary, released on the channel "Explain IMO", deals with a fight in the same 1v1 session as my 1v1 with Lat from 5:25 to 6:36. Since my last video, I've given up on being in a medium size faction, and I now reside in a faction with only five other people, my closest friends on the server. This is good in some ways - I have gained time that was lost to dealing with other faction members - but also a bad thing, because I no longer have a long list of friends whom I can call upon for help.
As such, my friends and I have experienced a noticeable disparity in any fights we've had recently - mainly in numbers. Either we've been severely outnumbered, and thus mass PvP was too difficult, or we've had a more even numerical match, and thus mass PvP was too easy. Nevertheless, we've still had the privilege of having some very interesting fights.
To deal with our lack of numerical resources, we've resorted instead to playing classes that we main. In this video, I'm almost always with my friend Intuition, and my two werefox friends, ArcAnt1shotu and Purity. This minisquad is the best way for us to deal with ganks: We can kill people quickly despite numbers because of purge, and it is hard to gank a sin (due to tidal) and a venomancer (due to Purify spell). Some people have complained that this setup for a squad is too unfair, but they fail to realize that we're actually forced to play our most familiar classes. Perhaps, if the other side could sometimes stop calling reinforcements, we could enjoy PvP on alts of other classes.
We'll see if we ever get the chance to PK without the other team either eventually outnumbering us or just ragequitting. Hopefully, we'll get that chance soon.
