I am a one-woman business too. I feel you so much on all that. I love the laser box. I would love to eventually be able to do that for shipping boxes too. I like the sticker idea also. Planning personalized stickers for orders. I also put in hi chews. I might be addicted to hi chews. Sooo satisfying.

It’s so frustrating, sometimes, to be someone who is new to “all this”, who has a passion to get “there” (wherever “there” is…lol), and can see the success of others. People who don’t put out videos, or who guard their secrets to success and turn out all these “perfect” videos.

Oooh, I can tell you that once you go to custom soap boxes, you'll never want to go back! It's so so nice having them sized exactly for your soaps and seeing your branding look so clean and slick on the boxes. In the meantime, I hope you can find a replacement supplier for the current boxes!
Making something to look cute & beautiful will take a lot time, but it's satisfying. Just people with creative mind will understand it. When you put effort & creativity in art actually it's enjoyful & can help you to reduce your stress (indirectly). ❤❤❤

Hi Jerika, I love your channel and I’ve learned so much from you over the past couple of years. I was having an issue finding boxes for my tall and skinny bars, I contacted OXO Packaging and they made my plain white (with cutout) boxes to my specifications. I feel their prices are reasonable, $.36 per box, plus I’ve had them make other boxes for some of my other products. They have a really fast turnaround too. Also, saw your laser and had to have one. I’m having a blast engraving everything 😁. Thank you for all you do. ❤️

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Enjoy your journey with your soap business and be grateful for your husband as he is willing to help you more than most men I know of. Also, you are still young and if you have kids in your future you will have to slow down. Don’t think you are too old for kids as my sister had her son at 40 and she really enjoyed the time she had with him and he just turned 21. She is looking forward to retirement and doing things she wants to do and I think that is great for her. Keep doing what makes you happy and is what you can live on.
I am with you. I had over sized myself and made some big decisions for this year. And I have decided on less B&M locations to give more attention to my locations that make the most money. I want to get back to the enjoyment of busy and less of the stress of over working myself with less enjoyment

I appreciate your one woman stance as it gives me hope and shows proof it can be done! I’ve been watching you for awhile and it seems now selling online is a larger focus than in person markets. Do you still do markets? As a person just starting out do you think markets are easier to sell at? I wish I could afford to make all the things I want to but I know in the beginning I will have to start smaller. Do you think you can be successful only selling one type of product? Say just soap? Or just bath bombs? Then add new products later as I hopefully grow? Thank you for any feedback you have.

You could lazer your logo on the outside of the boxes, as to indirectly bring awareness to your brand. Love your mindset, passion and videos. BTW, I am from Ont, but based in Europe.
I know you are having a hard time getting soap boxes. Just a question about the ones you are using. Are you cutting one side off? Top for the tall skinny and side for the squat?

I bet you could make your own custom boxes with a Cricut and the thick craft paper(I think it’s thick like Cardstock, or may be a little thicker) but I’ve seen people do that with other products, so I bet you could do it for soapboxes:) And then you could really customize it!

Will you please make a soap for psoriasis?
You can use gentle cold process soap on psoriasis skin - I do! But a soap will never cure psoriasis as psoriasis is an autoimmune disease that’s an internal issue. The cold process soaps I make and sell are much less drying than the commercial brands, which makes them ideal for dry psoriasis patches 😊
How do you get the lazor for rhe boxes or soaps bexause honeatly i got silacone withy logo so i can make my soaps that way and will need to pay for my boxes woth my logo if i could get a lazor that would be awesome i think it would save tons of money.

3 hours for 20 orders? there is an easier way, without going back and forth, grab a bin with an order then fill the bin with the order go to next order/bin
