It's because Simon can't buzz a tiny human. He's just fine with doing it to the older humans. They have no excuse for a sloppy act, little kids can mess up and make a ○_○ face and all is forgiven.
Well think about it
That kid has been alive for maybe 5 or 8 years
From age like 1 and 2 they basically can’t do anything
So they have maybe 3 or 6 years of practice and that’s only if they started VERY early
Plus they’re still kids who voices and movement skills are developing and he’ll their brains are still rapidly developing
And yet they can sing and dance and not be scared
Where as the adults have 20 years experience and are at only a slightly higher level than the kids
That definitely means those kids have talent and that talent needs to be shown off
Of course the judges say yes the kids like these they do insane things for their age

Why is no one talking about Malea? You can hear and see her passion for singing! And Heavenly definitely lives up to her name. She’s a natural born performer and her singing was amazing and absolutely adorable!!

What I like about the kids auditions, is the positive attitude. They light up the stage with those bright smiles. I wish older contestants could learn from the young ones. Win or loose these young ones deliver the way everyone should be.
