    I have an intellectual disability 😩 In 6th-8th grade needed a mentor to finish courses, in highschool all 4 years special ed helped me get a diploma, still after graduation couldn't qualify for college, had a 6th grade Math level. In the Army they called me Forrest Gump, cause I couldn't learn things quick enough, they tried to get me out, and eventually did through medical problems. It's hard living with a disability.

    I am diagnosed with intellectual disability when I was 15 or 16 years old. It describes what this disability is. I have short term memory lost and sometimes have panic attacks during my job or at school.

      Bomb Gaming Then how are you able to use a phone, much less search for this video and comprehend it? If your IQ was that low, you would probably have issues even doing menial tasks without some supervision.

    People used to call me the R word all because I'm unable to see. Last time I checked, just because I can't see, that doesn't mean I'm stupid. I'm very smart. For all those who have intellectual disability, you're all beautiful in your own ways!

      No, intellectual disability, if you have it, never goes away. That's life long. You can still learn and try to the best of your ability to deal with the hand you've been dealt, but it never goes away. Of course, any human can get smarter with time.

    • @gabygotay5640

    • @AStainOnAShirt
      @AStainOnAShirt Před 5 lety +7

      Some people can’t learn well, or their brains are set further behind to begin with, so they’d need extra training.

      Gaby Weirdo It’s just not not true.. hah :s. I’ve seen these ‘disabled’ people learn/change. It’s just that generally nobody bothers to be patient with them. (Unless all of the eight I’ve seen in Homes were misdiagnosed.)
