The education system is based on practical knowledge what we need to use after we graduate, but in India its basically mugging up, how much can you mug up and fill up the sheets, less or no importance is given to concept clarification through practical exams, teachers just show us on the boards or videos and expect students to learn and if you can’t teachers are gonna scold you and say you are an idiot and should join their tuition which is extra income for them, basically Indian Education system is based on mugging up. But in Germany and almost in Europe and america mostly its based on practical experiences which we need to use in real life.

I have a friend in France who told me the class each day(in europe) do not exceed 4 hours(normally each day one subject is taught, the lecture of which takes 4 hours). I have been admitted to a university in Germany and am supposed to come in Winter Semester 2020. I wanted to ask if whether the duration of lectures + university time each day i 4 hours or more. Thanks
