Chacham Hillel has confirmed that saying Hashem needs us is not heretical. Rav Moshe Shapiro claimed that saying there is no schar v'onesh doesn't make one a heretic. Your case that he is a heretic is getting weaker and weaker by the day. If it turns out he is not a heretic, you have commited many huge chillulei Hashem and sinat Yisrael.
