"If you put love into your space, it will give love back to you" 😭 I hear ya maisy! This is my sign to finally prioritize cleaning my space!!
Time blocking does wonders when you just need a push to start something. Even when I feel unmotivated I’ll give myself just 10-30 minutes dedicated towards that task and if I don’t get it done, no pressure. More often than not I find I do a lot more than expected, and can use the momentum to keep going longer! I am working on a digital template to help me with this further :)
But if i don't get the finish the task ill got slap lol, carryng big responsibility and industrial team work is exhausting. If you dont get done the work, it will affect to the others work
@@yogaaditya2797 I’m talking more so about personal tasks and goals, things we’ve been holding off on due to lack of energy/motivation. I have a full time job outside my CZcams channel and other side hustles too. My regular job takes priority of course since it is my main source of income and I also have a team relying on me. But I aim to bring in more passive income so one day I don’t have to deal with what you’re complaining about haha. Time blocking really helps me takes steps towards my personal goals when I really don’t feel like it. 30 mins a day of my side stuff has actually made a difference believe it or not 😊
0:29 the ant on the mic completely distracted me 😂
😭 the show must go on
Focusing on the positives (what you did vs. what you didn’t do) is such a big one. Even though we hear it all the time, it’s so easy to beat ourselves up on what we didn’t finish or accomplish. Myself included. Thanks for this Missy :)
I love what you said about focusing on the positives! It's so easy to see a half done task list as unfinished and a failure. But that doesn't give credit to what we were able to do!! So important to give ourselves wins, especially when we're feeling most down.
Thank you, Maisy. This was the reminder that I needed to reset myself and re-evaluate my perspectives with WFH and life balance. Hard to believe that sometimes we need someone else's (similar) perspective on burnout with the corporate life and burnouts. I really appreciate you taking the time to make this video as I'm sure this is not an easy topic to publicly just open up about. You're a wonderful person and thank you for making these videos! :D
Awww Maisy, I love this so much!!! The ending made me feel so warm and comforted. You are so right in that we need to show ourselves love and kindness. That when we take care of yourselves we can better take care of others. I also really appreciated you sharing your tips with us! 🥺💗 I get easily overwhelmed with tasks so breaking it down like that was such a smart idea.
Hi Maisy! I just wanted to thank you because you inspired me to change my bedroom+office for a cozy space and happy place where I can relax and not stress myself. I decided to paint my room to a beige color (it was blue before and it was making me feeling very depressed ) and I got new furniture and a ergonomic chair and desk because I been working on my bed since I didn’t have a desk on my room before (because of the space) it was making me be very uncomfortable and burnout (plus I have ADHD 😅). I realized that I needed a change and treat myself much better.❤️🩹💛💖
I just recently my first job as a developer working from home and I really needed this video today! Im totally going to try time blocking moving forward 💕
I enjoy how smooth and straight to the point you are with your videos. The flow of it all is easy to follow and easy to remember- keep it up Maisy. Job well done.
I've loved this video, Maisy. This last year I've been struggling a lot with burnout. I've barely had holidays (until this August month), I have a junior position in a company and they've put a lot of pressure on me, also this united to having been studying a master degree plus a language course (I study German), has been really tough to me. I've been going to a psychologist for almost 9 months now, and I've realised how much effort I've put in other people's perspectives and things people expected or favors they've asked me to do for so many time, leaving completely my self care. As a result, I've even had health problems, not just mental, but also physical problemas regarding my health. So now ahead, I'm focusing in getting a job I enjoy most, with a more balanced job-personal life, and your videos inspire me to achieve it, so thank you 😊
this is such a timely video, maisy! i kinda feel a little burnout lately and been beating myself for not being able to do tasks so i've been cleaning my desk before and after work which really helped with my productivity!
You posted this during my small work hiatus because I was going through burnout! I really needed this, thank you for sharing
Guys seems like the big hole in my planning was not starting with goals. I saw a comment where the person mentioned that for learning a language she establish goals, and now Maisy start the video with that. I'm going to give it a try 😊.
I don't know why but your videos and shorts makes me feel so calm and it make me feel so comfortable. I appreciate your effort so much. Thank you 😊
You're the first person I've heard talk about altering time blocks as you go through your day. I do the same thing! I used think, "wOw I'm so lazy. I didn't finish the tasks in the time allotted," but now I'm more gentle with myself. I've come to recognize that projects/tasks take the time they take 🤷♀ And life happens! Unexpected roadblocks happen all the time. So if I need to move a task to another day, I do! That's what I love about digital calendars--it's so easy to drop & drag tasks / time blocks.
Shoutout Maisy one time for the one time. Killing it girl. About to start remotely full time so this will come in handy. I time block already and I see some pros and some cons to it for me.
Thank you for this video! I am trying to grab hold of my currently very chaotic and unfulfilling life and your videos are being a big help in achieving that
This came out at the perfect time -- it's my final exam for law school and the time blocking and loving your atmosphere have both been very close things to my routine! Always love your videos for quick pick-me-ups. Keep up the amazing work
👏👏👏this video came at the perfect time 😍 thank you SO much for filming & editing this video 💖 your b roll was on point! I’m definitely going to try to do timeblocking and positive reinforcements those are things that I definitely need to work on because there been days where I finish one task out of my whole list and I do beat myself up about it but I’m going to try to break that habit. Also going to create time for me to have some personal time as that is very important I think that I put so much time towards my business and work that I sometimes put myself on the back burner for self-care. Again thank you so so much 🤩
So much good advice! I think burning out happens a lot nowadays and it can be so difficult to come out of! Take time to take care of yourself! To everyone that's struggling with burnout, hope you are all doing okay!
using a notepad like how u did for time blocking really helped me today! I finally feel a sense of accomplishment after finishing my tasks ❤
Wow Maisy! Love your positive mindset in taking care of yourself and focusing on what you did do. I really needed to hear some of the things you mentioned! 💕 and love this podcast style video!
maisy, thank you for sharing! it was a joy to watch and experience some encouragement from your tips and your space 🥳
The task part is so me; right before you said mood board, I was like, oh, this is how I use Milanote! I dump everything and then start to structure it to make sense to me too!
Loom is so fun too. I didn't know of it until you mentioned it in an earlier video, and I've been using it since to share easy and short walkthroughs for people when helpful :)
I absolutely enjoyed this video-a BIG mood.
I'm so glad I found your channel by accident! I really really needed this - I always feel like I'm behind and I can't get anything done. Thank you so much for this video! Definitely will be applying some of the things that you've mentioned
Very productive vlog maisy!!! ❤️❤️
Hi Maisy! This is such a great and helpful video. It's just what I need since I've been burnout from work these days. Gonna try out these productivity tips 😊😊😊
Love your content! I always get excited when I see your uploads, your videos are so calming 😌
Thank you for these gentle tips and reminders. I think the biggest thing for me is that I really can't an overly restrictive time schedule. That's why I've struggled so much with setting up a routine and when I tried time blocking, I failed because I treated it as a law, rather than a guideline. I am also in a great need of cleaning and organizing my space. It's something I know I have to do, but I keep putting off because I lack the motivation. Also love the app recommendations. I've used Milanote before and I love it, but being a subscription-based software it's currently out of my budget. I will check out some of the other apps you mentioned. Once again, thank you for the tips and recommendations. ❤️🌟
This video definitely inspired me. It is true to think of the positive things where you completed one thing than not completing more than one thing. Thanks for that reminder ♥️
Love the tips Maisy! I have been struggling with keeping up with all of the stuff that I have to do lately and experiencing burn out 😵💫 I found time blocking to be a useful tool too!
I`m from Brazil and i love the vibe of Maisy`s videos. It`s very cozy.
Thanks so much I was going through mental breakdown and creativity burnout since this cooperate life really sucking your time. I do wish to open own business and just have balance life. Thanks so much!
Great video, love your space! Loom seems really good. I use notion for almost everything, you can create a calendar with tasks and organise it well. Thanks! 👏
thank you masiy❤, don't forget from productivity tips sleep enough 👍
Hello Maisy! I’ve recently subscribed to you and I have been busy catching up on your videos! It was really fun! Thank you for sharing with us
Oh my, i love everything you said couldn't agree more ♥️ positive vibes only
Just the video I needed 🔥
Hi Maisy! Thanks for sharing your helpful tips for being more productive working from home. I’ve been struggling with this and have been using a digital planner on my iPad to schedule my day by making time blocks, to-do lists, self care routine, etc…but I never seem to stick to it or go back in the planner. But I’m going to give “Structured” a shot. I’ve heard good things about that app. Plus it can be on my iPhone and iPad as a widget so I can see it as soon as I unlock my devices. I love that I can get reminded what I should be doing with notifications. I’m going to share this video on my IG, very useful thank you!☺️
Such a great, helpful video - and your skin is stunning too! X
I just do whatever i feel like doing at a particular time.. i find it better than planning things out.. ofc.. planning works too.. its just depends on the work and the situation..
Love your set up
Your videos help's me stay so productive
Thank God I found your channel, lots of love 💕💕💕

💕💕 i love your video so much!! You make me love to studies! Thanks for youtube for recommend your video ;))✨
I love your videos. And I love your skin!! I wanna know your skin care routines :)
I saw your post on instagram about Sexismus. I also work as a fullstack developer. it's an area that I really like even if we are just two girls with 40 men
I also sometimes receive opinions like: why did you choose the programming, sometimes the look is enough to understand their discomfort.... But I confirm that thanks to those prejudices. I try to learn more to show them that we are all equal and sometimes better ;-)
I'm such a nerd but thank you for using a muji pen ugh theyre just so...ok im geeking out about a pen I'll go
I loved the content of this video but also wanted to say that you look GREAT in that color green. Definitely your color.
You are amazing girl 💙💎
whenever you post a video, I know I'm gonna have a great day :)
I appreciate all the hard work that goes into your videos/posts. you're one of my favorite content creators because of how much love you put in but also the wilking9to be vulnerable and honest. I hope you continue to give yourself love and grace, and I can't wait to continue supporting you ❤️
also, the habits you talked about at the beginning of the video reminded me of the lessons from a book called Atomic Habits by James Clear. if you haven't read it yet, I highly recommend!
I love your voice sm. 💗💗💗
Love all your videos Maisey. I always look forward to your uploads :) I was wondering what app you’re using at 3:01?
Its called “Structured - Day Planner” ☺️
@@oliviacussen1 thank you 💕

Hi Maisy! Thank you for making this video. It came right on time for me as I just started my WFH position 3 weeks ago and it has been difficult adjusting. This video is really helpful for me and I can't thank you enough.
I was curious if you could possibly drop the link to the app you use for time blocking. It looked very helpful
I just realized, upon watching the video a second time, that you said the app 😅
Sorry! You're the best!
Loved the video. Ta.
I love setup😊can you put everything in the description of what you bought? And how you did your keyboard? Thx happy COZY Halloween!🎃
Where did you get your desk from it looks really good
Thank you for this amazing share
A while ago, I thought task plans are only for the pretty girls with bullet journals, who have too much time planning than actually doing. You might think so as well. Like, urgh, so pretentious and it doesn't work like that anyway. You might thing, "I don't need to plan. I just need to work."
Well, let me tell you, I actually started to make a weekplan myself. And it works, gosh darn it. Key is to really really realistically write down how many minutes you might take for a task. Like 30 minutes on essay task 1a). Then you write down 10:00-11:00 task 1a). So 30 minutes working, 30 minutes buffer. And really really do it at 10:00 am. Yes, it can take more than half an hour making this plan, but it helps soooooo much. Planning is part of working. Take your time with it.
The link for the steel case chair goes to a partnerize website? can you give us the link to the chair? really like the look of it
please give a link to the pictures from your desktop from your computer. they are very cool! what is this style?
I just use Notion for everything - less apps is nice for me imo
