My mother used to love making junk journals so I am excited to try my hand at one, too. Can't wait to get the kit and play along. I'm going to dig through her things, too, so I can include her in my journal. Christmas was her favorite time of year. ❤️

This as a great video! Thank you for the way that you present. It is a pleasure to watch your video. I love how you don’t talk all through the video and when you do talk it’s either to explain what you’re doing or to share your enthusiasm and it is just a great balance. And I love how you speed up some areas that are just gluing or something like that does that doesn’t need any explanation. I started junk journaling about three months ago so I’ve done a few by now but this video was awesome and I’m so glad that it popped up on my feed.

I’ve never made a junk journal, I hope to try to soon maybe not for Christmas but in the new year. This is just me , I’m glad to see it’s not vintage . I just don’t care for a lot of vintage. Don’t judge me lol . 😊 I subscribed to your channel.
Hi Bertha, and welcome to my channel! I think you will enjoy making a junk journal - it’s really a lot of fun. Yes, I understand about vintage and wouldn’t judge you for not being a big fan, lol. I mostly create things using lots of color, and I do make some vintage stuff (but I usually add color to those as well 🤭). I very much appreciate your watching, commenting, and subscribing! 😊😊😊
Wow Cat your journal looks so gorgeous! Those fabrics are such a beautiful combo. The messy stitching is a really nice touch as well. I am trying to make a simple, first timer junk journal and it totally looks like that “nailed it!” show where the end product looks nothing like how it was supposed to and is a complete mess lol! 😂

Thanks so much! You can add anything holiday-related and definitely things that you want to remember. A few ideas are: Christmas cards (or images cut from them), product labels and tags, photos of Christmas preparation, decorating, and, celebrating. I will be showing what I’m using in my journal and sharing ideas and hopefully that will help you to consider what you might use in yours. 😊

Hi Kathy, I don’t have any plans to make more grab bag kits. That being said, I may gather some of the leftover items later this year, and do something with them, but it’s not a definite plan yet. 😊
