Great analysis! Just because it’s lawful, doesn’t mean it isn’t awful. When you are that young and getting attention from older men, especially wealthy and successful men, you feel “lucky”. It isn’t until years later that they recognize that they were used and treated as an object that they start dealing with the damage it’s caused to their spirit and sense of self. Inexperienced girls don’t know what normal is, which is why creeps prey on them. It’s all about power through humiliation and Drake was definitely on his way to being the next Diddy. Hopefully being humbled will prevent that escalation, no pun intended lol! Drake isn't trying to reveal this one to the world, and why ruin some girl and her mothers life, by having the whole world after them when they clearly don't want anything to do with this man, nor want any publicity.
Kendrick brought it up to show Drake that he can get ahold of this level of information which had to have come from someone in his inner circle.

No offence, but this video is not what I expected. I saw someone young and I thought you’d share some new, valuable insights, but it appears you are regurgitating what your audience wants to hear…
Especially the part about Whitney.

Drake dug into this, and we all dismissed him because we’d rather see Kendrick Lamar win. Drake refuted:
• Why isn’t Whitney denying any of the allegations
• Why did he move to NY (and his wife didn’t)
• Hasn’t seen his kids in +6 months
• “they hired a crisis management team… the picture you painted it ain’t what it seems”
We all expected Kendrick to respond to this and he never did… on May 12th (Mothers day) we saw Whitney alone celebrating Mother’s Day (and her birthday) alone.
Legit wish someone would talk about this. And seriously wish people would take sexual assault and domestic abuse seriously… instead of hoping their “opponent” is a predator/abuser.

I have zero tolerance for domestic abuse but I’m also not gonna jump up at every accusation made with zero evidence. I’m going to form my own opinion with the information presented and my opinion is I don’t think Kendrick is abusive. My opinion will change if the facts change.
Drake didn't dig into anything, he just threw out stereotypes for people to latch on because all he knows about American Black culture is selling stereotypes. He lies about his own past to sell those stereotypes throughout all his music, telling lies about his own father and reassuring him by saying "it sells records dad, let it go." His father in an interview told everyone Drake lies in his music. So Drake having no evidence or proof but simply going, "I bet that black man beats his wife and she sleeps around so the kid ain't even his" is nothing but stereotypes that he's throwing against the wall and hoping sticks.
And Kendrick responded several times, stating in Meet the Grahams "You fucked up the moment you mentioned my family's name, why you have to stoop so low to discredit some decent people?" and in Not Like Us "The audience not dumb. Shape the stories how you want. Hey Drake, they're not slow." He's telling Drake that him *trying* to drag Whitney's name through the mud is exactly why he's demolishing him in the public eye. Kendrick is going to bat *for* Whitney, and you ask why Whitney hasn't responded. Because it's not her beef or her problem and she's going to live her life with Kendrick regardless of what anyone in the public thinks. That's precisely the kind of life they worked hard to achieve, remember Kendrick also said "Only *you* like being famous" to Drake. Kendrick doesn't even *use* social media so of course he's not showing up on any of it. And they're not gonna lose their right to privacy just because Drake has an ego problem and resorts to defamation to get rid of his opponents. Because Kendrick isn't even the first person he tried this on, Pusha T famously went after Drake *also* for mentioning his wife's name. Drake has a pattern of doing this and that's why everyone is ignoring him. Not because we don't take domestic abuse seriously, but because nobody should be taking *Drake's* word seriously.
