In this Blender 2.8 full guide tutorial, we look at a very fast way of creating a night sky complete with clouds using the Blender 2.8 Eevee render. We are going to create this sky with a node-based system. I have also done a quick tip tutorial on a day sky link down below.
Blender 2.8 is the perfect software to create scenes within which to best showcase game assets. This course is perfect for teaching you dabble with the all-new Blender 2.8 and experiment with Eevee render.

could you show how you would add a moon?
I am doing my senior project on animation and as a first time animator, I can't tell you enough how much this has helped me! I do have one issue, however. When I am done, when I attempt to click on the Eevee to see completed with clouds, the application stops responding. Any ideas on how to fix this issue? Thanks so much!

Used the exact same setting but my clouds look blured, I've messed with the bottom (cloud) node sets but can't get sharp defined clouds like you got, are there some settings I should change (and save to start file) to make my renders look crisp?
(I'm in Evee, Turned render (viewport) detail to 64, but am unsure about where to set the actual "view distance/quality" of blender itself, if that makes sense?
Edit: The stars look crisp, so I'm not sure why the couds look so... well misty, lol. As its for me now it's an amazing effect to get fog, so I'll be saving this either way :P
to be really honest with i did this about 2 years ago now and not only has blender changed a fair bit but I don't remember :)

I've studied the nodes using blender documentation and even done some experimenting, but i still cant figure out how you made those clouds. Shouldn't they have looked exactly like the stars and overlap since they are made from the same coloramp?
is there a way to mak it work in cycles, whenever i do it, it turns to sunrise/sunset

Yes, if you set up another light source and for visuals set up a plane with emission on
