    Awesome job staying fit in these snowy conditions. I have the Watch ⌚️ 6 44mm version. I get close to 2 1/2 days out of the watch. That is okay for me.
    The only thing I don't like are the inaccurate sensors. Especially during high intensity exercises.

    I was wondering why my battery drain has been slower. I always rock AOD on my watches and with my Galaxy watch 6 classic 47mm I'll take it off the charge and put it on at around 6-7am and like as of right now it's 2:27am and my watch is sitting at 81% battery life. So I'm getting about 20% battery drain per day with my usage. Keep in mind, I don't use Samsung health at all as I don't care about my body status or tracking my workouts. But I do use everything else with AOD and brightness turned up to max. Honestly, the only time it drained incredibly fast was the first week I had it when it was learning usage. Honestly, I was on the fence about getting the Watch 5 pro over the 6 classic, but damn am I happy I went with the 6 classic. I'm impressed...it seems to last as long as my ticwatch 3 pro ultra did.

    • @hobbitpsi
      @hobbitpsi Před 8 měsíci +1

      It did, but if you're getting the watch fresh, your battery will drain pretty quickly for about a week because like the phones, it learns your usage patterns. Once it learns your usage patterns the watch will put all the apps you don't use permanently to sleep unless you start using them. Other than that, after the week you'll be golden.

    Just a thought, does it make any difference which watch face you have? I have the 6 LTE and I think the watch faces with the realtime step and active calories + minutes uses the battery faster than a more passive face?

    • @corneliusjermainehightower7539
      @corneliusjermainehightower7539 Před 8 měsíci +2

      I want to say it doesn’t because I use the Bitmoji watch face not the one that’s preloaded on the watch, but the one from the play store and I’m at 2 days and the Bitmoji watch face from the play store flips through way more faces then the 3 you get from the play store.

    • @hobbitpsi
      @hobbitpsi Před 8 měsíci +2

      Yes your watch face does matter. The more pixels that are lit up on your screen, the more battery it uses. Now, some watch faces will have cool looking designs that get around that by making it a picture background but open parts for the animated parts, that usually doesn't drain as bad. Far as animations go... eh.... if it's samsung health realtime tracking on your watch face, it really depends f you have it tracking continuously or manually. continuously, you are having the app run constantly in the background so yes it's going to drain faster. If you want to save battery I highly suggest turning continuous tracking off and turn on manual tracking and set those up as tiles. Like I have heart rate and couple other health tiles up and I have it set where it'll only give me a reading when I tell it to do a reading, other than that it's on standby and not draining battery.

    • @corneliusjermainehightower7539
      @corneliusjermainehightower7539 Před 8 měsíci +2

      @@hobbitpsi Doing all of that takes away from the actual watches experience. I get what you’re saying, but for a normal person that wants to enjoy the always on display and the various watch faces I’m good with getting just over 2 days before needing to charge. I’m re running my Bitmoji test to be sure and then I’ll switch to a Samsung watch face and compare the differences but the features for tracking has to stay on for me.

    I've being suffering with pour battery since I got my 6 44, getting max 17h a day. My watch has not updated and from a week ago battery improved a lot now I get more then 30h hours with AOD, fall sensor. Whatsapp and most stuff I like. Play services seems not to be the big villain as thought, as it still competes with AOD as biggest battery consumer.

      @hobbitpsi Před 8 měsíci +1

      that....that just answered your question for you. you're streaming. Have you ever just watched the data transfer that goes on when you stream something on any device? It's a TON of data so of course you're going to be burning through your battery incredibly quickly. Especially for spotify as it's also an app not native to android unlike how apple music is native to iphone. It's just, biggest tip or any device... if you're device is constantly running something especially running something that involves the constant upload and download of data, then it's going to kill your battery fast.

      do you have samsung health apps running constantly, like continuously reading your stats 24/7? if so then that's your problem. Your watch face could be the issue too. Remember the more things thats on your watch face the more pixels are lit up so it's draining more battery.

    Hey Dude! So, watch 5 pro LTE, S22 Ultra. I just got android 14, yeah. First thing I noticed is my watch went from 3 days to less than 1 day, like 18 hours. So I deleted the wear app on my phone and reinstalled it. Of course, not thinking it through, it necessitated resetting my watch and starting over. After going through that crap, the watch would not connect to wifi. It kept saying wifi disabled, and nothing I could do to fix it. So I reset it again, and then wifi was fixed. So be aware. Anyhow, the watch seems okay now after spending all that wasted time. Right now I'm at 84% after eight hours, so that seems normal. To be honest, I am done with Samsung. I am returning my just purchased Tab S9 FE because , a requirement I had was it had Dex, but the dang thing will not output to a monitor. What good is that? Anyway, hello Apple!

    • @hobbitpsi
      @hobbitpsi Před 8 měsíci

      84% after only 8 hours? That's not normal at all. What kind of watch face and what apps do you have running constantly on your watch? I just went from 6am to now 2:46am and my watch is at 80%. Sorry you had so many problems but bro.... you did way too much than you actually had to do. It's sounding like you're not used to android devices and more familiar with apple products, which if that's the case then hey that makes sense. Not throwing insults, but Apple makes their products so incredibly simple that it's honestly boring as hell. And I'm a fan of both android and apple and can admit that.

    • @frodar48
      @frodar48 Před 8 měsíci

      @@hobbitpsi So, today so far, I'm at 90% after 13 hours. Seems my watch is relearning it's battery usage since the reset. And no, I have never owned any Apple products and started using smartphone (android) since 2014, starting with the LG G3, and actually started with the original Motorola flip phone in the 1990's. Plus I've owned 5 smartwatches, a Martin, 2 Asus smartwatches and 2 samsung smartwatches including a Gear S3 Frontier. And finally, I use Samsung health app every day, and I have a gazillion watchfaces on my watch and I rotate them daily if not more, plus they use no less than three - five complications. And how can you even assume what you know about me? No need to reply.
