Singing came to Ms. Jackson with the ease of speaking. Her soulfulness was so entrenched in her being that it allowed her to sing with confidence and without much forethought! Her breath control and sense of rhythm was remarkable and God given!❤
I found her 14 years ago and been hooked ever since. Not JUST the queen of gospel a musical icon and the best to ever do the thing. ❤️

By 1964 she didn’t have to work so hard with Caucasian American audiences anymore…lol…they had a full decade to get the rhythm. 0:02
