I cant believe they discontinued La Mia Perla! it's such a beautiful perfume, my comfort scent
I really love Givenchy Pi. It says it's for men but anyone could wear it. It's a warm orange/amber tonka balsamic sweet (not sugary sweet). Not loud, but a low sexy soothing rumble. I could swim in it

This is the exact scent category I've been looking for! Each time you talk about La Mia Perla and Fat Electrician, I'm more intrigued to smell them 😍
Fat Electrician is a dirty patchouli vetiver. I tried to wear it but it's better on my husband. The name made me laugh, my interest begins and ends there unfortunately, which is a small disappointment in my olfactory universe.
Love Oudish, I find it ridiculously hard to describe, and pick up different nuances every time I wear it. I wish I could say I totally smell the oud bit I don't. And it's fabulous. I'm going to need a backup bottle soon. It's been a great scent for work for me, almost like my natural scent when I've been out in the sun plus some musky, woody nuances and a refreshing blast off the top (Probably the tea note). I'm still not totally sold on Zarkoperfumes but this one is a winner. Never heard anyone talk about this on CZcams so thanks so much!
I know you are hesitant to pay the price of that full bottle of that HdP 1904, Maria - but if there’s any bottle that you could justify paying full price for, I’m pretty sure it’s that one, given how much you love it. 💜

Clinique Beyond Rose is a very interesting take on a rose/ oud blend. It’s discontinued and when you do find it on eBay, mercari, etc… it’s priced for $80 and up. It doesn’t list oud in the notes on Fragrantica, but it’s definitely there. When it enters into the middle notes is when it starts to shine.
!! Hommage 🥰...Something about the musk in this one, I agree, a softness of sorts. To me, plays like a dusty facet too, at ease, even a little nostiligia evoking like on old color photograph (??) IMHO. ✌🙏
Oh I really wanted to enjoy Tardes but on my skin it turns into the most obnoxious melange of synthetic musks that it just smells like I've overdosed my laundry on fabric softener. It brings on the most awful headaches which are almost migraines in terms of pain and discomfort. Such a shame. White by Puredistance, Shunkoin by Xerjoff, Milky Musk by Parle Moi, Messy Sexy Just Rolled Out of Bed by A Lab on Fire, Calandre by Paco Rabanne, Akanasasu by Di Ser and Yawahada by J-Scent are better for my olfactory sensitivities if I want to smell like I'm lying in freshly laundered pyjamas in a sunny pool of 'clean, gentle, fuzzy sunshine'.
PS= The way you handle your exploration of scent and the way you communicate your experience and thoughts on the sense of smell is excellent, one of the best channels out there by a country mile. Articulate, genuinely inspired, self-propelling, intellectually curious, funny and a very creative speaker. I keep searching for more channels like this and there just aren't any. Keep up the great work!

@@MariaMeliora It's a great hobby of mine; I have shelves of full bottles and even more samples (which I generally suggest most people get into rather than feeling so intimidated by the people in 'frag comm' that they feel the need to overspend on full bottles in order to fit in and feel 'legit' etc). I am evangelical about the benefits of starting off a fragrance education via samples and decants but then again, if people like Ceylon Cleo want to blow TENS OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS on bottles of fragrance in only a couple of years, well hey, each to their own. People with psychological and behavioural issues related to addiction and compulsion can get horribly tangled up and financially in deep trouble with hobbies like this and I worry about them...without getting too intense here. Samples are the way to go for most fragrance lovers who want to educate themselves and just broaden their knowledge in general. I'm always happy to see you pull a vial out in your videos. I notice all these healthy, happy things you do and inadvertently give a thumbs up to.
