You are not supposed to hard pulling the zipper out to open it. You can squeeze the protective orange tab and then pull the zipper. I read it somewhere else.
I believe the City CX convertible has the advantage of becoming a backpack, whereas the saddle is just a crossbody- depends on if you want 2 for 1 or just a crossbody
