My best guess is that they're struggling to find a way to tie Blade into the main narrative of the MCU. I think the best option would be to have it just stay as its own thing that's in the same universe but isn't that important to the plot going forward.

Honestly, they need to just can this one. The thing marvel needs to do right now is downsize not keep adding more. I think the only thing that can save the movies at this point is to go scorched earth on any new projects and the people working on them. Bring in some fresh faces and fresh ideas.
TBF Deadpool Vs wolverine is going to be their big reset. Where they can now introduce Any past or future characters through the multiple universes

At least they are trying different ideas with this rather than trying to keep the same script and just butcher it 6 million times. Better to have 1 good script after 5 goes than a bad script.
I actually wouldn't mind this to be a series, more of a deep dive into the vampire world of marvel.
New writers new everything, I'm sure Ali would be a great blade, but we need a fresh movie, think outside the box, not inside of the big box, get out

It’s probably a case of the studio trying to overstuff it with stuff unrelated to Blade.
Blade is supposed to be British. They should set it in Britain in the 80s, and get a British director and cast.

I wanted to see Blade the movie because i was a Wesley Snipes fan, i wanted to see Captain America because i loved Chris Evans in fantastic four and i watched Ironman because i was fond of RDJ, i didnt go out of my way and give my money to watch these movies because of the characters, so, the 'new' Blade, 'new' irongirl and the 'new' Captain America can go spit because i will not be watching them anyways.
Maybe the first and third one of those you can get away with, but ain't no way you went to the first Captain America for Chris Evans and for Chris Evans alone lol.
@@doc8013 I was only interested in deadpool becuase i liked Ryan Renolds in Blade Trinity AND the green latern(yes i did like this movie when it came out), anyways, for me, it is about the actor playing the part moreso about the character. (and yes, i was only interested in Captain America because of two reasons, one was Chris Evans and the other was to follow the storyline of the movies in order or release.), Snowpeircer is also a good movie from Evans.

Plus, Mia Goth is being sued for allegedly assaulting an extra on the set of MaXXXine. Marvel just can't win with some of their more recent casting choices.

Unless they make and release Mahershala Ali's movie this title won't age.
Very likely there will never be another Marvel movie after Deadpool releases. They literally have no other films in the can ready for release. When Deadpool is released onto Disney+ it will be retitled as Deadpool kills the MCU

@li-limandragon9287 I wouldn't mind them putting out captain america then going full scorched earth on any new projects and people involved with them. But, what i don't like is people spreading blatant misinformation to fuel their narrative
