Make sure you include the stirrup bent radius when doing rebar clear spacing checks. It’s something that I overlooked in this video, but I corrected it in the video below.

I think your voice is very clear. Thanks. Could you please create a video of reading the steel structure drawings?

Thanks li xing! I’ll look into that. Do you mean structural steel design drawings or shop drawings?

I am studying all the materials for the coming architect license exams. The steel Structure drawing, not shop drawing, would do help me. Thank you.

    Very informative, thank you!
I would have used #4 stirrups personally but that’s just me.

Thanks for the video. Just wondering if you build your own template for the CBT PE exam, can you use them during the exam? Or is that template simply for the exam study? Appreciate your help!

You’re welcome JL! Please make sure you include the stirrup bent radius when doing these clear spacing checks. It’s something that I overlooked in this video, but I corrected it in the video below. Regarding your question, unfortunately you cannot use that template during the CBT PE Exam. I think it’s helpful in studying for the exam and to have as a sanity check on your day job if you design concrete beams.
