Spokane Public School nurses Adam Phillips and Lauren Bray explain what their job entails.
It's much more than ice packs and bandages. School nurses ensure medical and immunization records are up to date, assist students with chronic illnesses and allergies, and help care for our medically fragile students. They even act as counselors when the need arises.
