Candleston Castle is haunted? Paranormal investigation

- Welcome to our first ever recorded Ghost Hunt. the location is a Haunted Castle called Candleston Castle.
We conduct our first ever paranormal investigation at these amazing Castle ruins. Candleston Castle is a fortified Manor house near Bridgend in South Wales. Famous for its ghostly apparitions, sightings of shadow figures, strange orbs and light anomalies and rumours of a cursed goblin stone!
None of the events have been fictionalised, nothing has been added visually or audio tampered with, everything you see is 100% real. no fakery. no BS.
What evidence did we capture at the creepy Castle? Is there something Paranormal haunting Candleston? or can it all be easily explained.
I've never attempted to edit anything like this before and this was Mrs Geek and my first attempt to capture the paranormal.

This was so much fun. What a great location. Isn't it funny how the atmosphere changes once the sun sets. I lived in a house that was very "spiritually active". It was just as active in broad daylight as it was at night. My cat would react when something was around that we could not see. We could feel a presence but couldn't see it. He had long hair and his fur would stick up like a porcupine and he would crouch down and growl at nothing that we could see. Poor thing. I hated to leave him alone in the house but we all managed to learn to live with "it" and it with us. I hope you and Mrs. Geek will go back there. Trust your instincts. If you felt it, it was there. 💖💖

To respond to the last part of the video about the cameras and all: Aside from the frequencies clashing, I really like the rawness of how this is filmed. We might have missed some things because of the light disagreeing with the cam, but that too adds to the genuine feeling this footage gives.
This was very interesting.I found out recently that the Herberts are my ancestors.I didn't know this was one of the places they owned until you mentioned the Tudors during the video. Look forward to seeing more of your videos in the future.
Omg. I watched whole thing with goosebumps on my arms !!! You two r fabulous doing this and it had me hooked n rewinding ! Didn't hear growl but did hear the 3 whistling ... and that orb coming towards camera was amazing, saw that 2nd time around! There's a thing on Google to do with this places 'library' had over 30'000 books, n voice kept saying book, that's WEIRD !

I think my favourite part was the conversation with the spirit box. Not really sure what to make of it but entertaining all the same. The jump scares we funny as they always are albeit in a completely different environment. Definitely want to see more.

Amazing isn't it. We have 4 castles within a 10 minute drive we are very lucky. An hours drive there's probably around 10

I live in a rural county. We have a few covered bridges and ghost towns from the logging & early industrial mines. I find native artifacts though. Always thrilling in find signs of people who were here before us.

That i couldn’t work out. I mean I thought a bug or bugs. It was shown to another investigator who thinks it was dust, but its still baffled me as I’m not convinced it was dust, not for the directions they both went, if it was wind, it would have blown the same direction. It wasn’t even windy.

@@dean_bailey what did you make of the red orb? I was literally looking at the phone as I was recording so I saw it coming towards me at the time. A bug? There were loads of bugs but that one seemed to be different to the others. So gutted the sounds we picked up haven’t come through, literally watching it back we heard so much more than was uploaded for some reason. Doesn’t help we literally had 2 phones to record and one torch haha

it's been a conscious decision to leave the sound of the actual investigations raw. from the actual investigation start in editing I have a single audio track and a single video track so if anyone ever wants to check I can show zero tampering. the only thing I do is on some replays I increase the volume but only after the original volume has been played.

The ‘red’ orb/light anomaly is still bugging me at 36:10.
I need to know what type of bug picks up as red lol, the white orb was a fly, but it was dark, I wasn’t wearing anything red, for it to be that bright, I would presume it would be a white orb as normal. I hadn’t changed lighting or and it didn’t look like the generic bug or dust. I need it debunked, has anyone caught dust or a bug like that before? 😁.
I have my own theory about 'orbs'. Most are dust or bugs but I believe some colored orbs could be energy released by earth that spirits may use as energy to do things. I could be wrong and it's 'spirit' but I honestly need more than just an orb.
@@ladyliberty5771 we dubunked it as possibly dust, what got me was that it split into 2, one red one white went in different directions. Orbs, most definitely maybe dust most of the time, but I’d never captured a red one lol. We have captured full body apparition on a camera years ago, but again, as paranormal evidence it’s very hard to prove, as there may be an explanation we haven’t looked at 😁
I have numerous ‘orb’ pictures, of just one, which makes me think if it was dust there’d be a ton of them all of the same in the same pic. I don’t take orbs as proof x In my experience spirits do not like to show themselves as such, I’ve seen 2 in my lifetime with my eyes, full shadow bastards (if you watch caspersight for fun like I do lol) not with a camera. Both in my home, in different rooms, at different times of the day, years apart, backed up by beardo who experienced similar in one of the rooms. It’s why I’m looking for actual evidence to prove I’m not crazy with what I experience 😅
@Mrs Geek 🤣 I have a pic on my Screensaver of a paid hunt I took my son on prior to hunting for myself. We BOTH saw an orb with our eyes that made him jump out of the way. I suddenly got the urge to snap pics, 5 in fact, sadly 4 were lost but a full body apparition was caught that I still have! She's lovely, and based on the clothing, from early 1900s!
You don't have to debunk everything, things exist that we can't explain, and maybe you found one, I'm 52 and I would love to tell someone with an open unbiased mind what I've seen, I wish it was legal to take truth serum because I've had to keep most of these things to myself. Nothing that's lead to a haunting, but things I know are real, and I can't prove it, it's horrible, I wish I didn't know, it wasn't meant to be a part of my world, I don't like it, just individual youtubers, and please thank Sara, I subscribed because I thought beardo was cool and funny, but I took it more seriously because of Sara's loyalty which was outstanding 🙂😀💞✌️🌟.
Hi Beardo, and Mrs. G., I’m a relatively new subscriber to your channel, and, throughly enjoy your content. I would like to make a suggestion to you if that’s okay…. If possible, perhaps investing in a 816 Sennheiser shotgun mic would increase your sound quality. Also, using RF MICS. Such as two electrisonic wireless transmitters and receivers with matching Sennheiser wireless Mics. Your voice comes over fine using just the Mic and Camera, however, a lot is missed with Mrs. G’s voice, even when she is filming using the Mic attached to the camera. I can set you up with these Mics if you would like, as I’m retired from the Film Industry in Sound Production local 695. Perhaps you have these Mics by now, as I believe this video is two years old. Just let me know, and we can work this out. Thank you again for a GREAT PODCAST!!!!

I go to haunted locations with my littlebrother too, and even though things can get very eerie, then we can sit in a location for hours on end and get close to no evidence.
What you feel. Their energies and those small sounds and feelings, are most of what's going on on haunted locations.
its not things getting thrown and demons that wants your soul, at every single location.
I've never experienced anything get thrown. ( I'm not saying it can't happen. I believe it can. But at every damn location? I highly doubt that)
It's how they and their energy affects you and how you feel them around. Those small noises, footsteps. Even thoughts or pictures in your head that those entities might show you. I sadly think that's why many people ends up faking it; cause most followers wouldn't find that very entertaining.
But this is the real deal guys.
This is how it usually goes, and this in itself is super exciting. Especially if you go to the location and experience it for yourself.

Next time you go back, try to piss off the spirits by bringing a fake official letter declaring you bought the place and that they got to go while holding out the letter to the air.
Declare the building will be torn down, and they're no longer welcome. Tell them you figured out who they are because they show up perfectly well on camera, and you researched them, and that they did nothing worth while with their lives, and that they're an embarrassment.😂

All places are creepy, especially in the dark. Must admit never heard noise like you did, bats, moths and probably mice and rats amongst a multiple amount of critters to make noise

Wales is the most beautiful place I've ever been. I hope to be able to move near Snowdonia or thereabouts before I die. Just wondering, I've talked to a few Welshmen (and Welshwomen, I'm not sexist) and the older generation are adamant that the dragons are real. Some think they were hunted to extinction and others think that they are still there, hiding in the hills and mountains. What do you think about that? I don't believe it, but their conviction almost makes me rethink it.
there's never been a sighting a dragon bone found. it's a myth as far as I know. it's a cool myth though

Yeah, we don’t put much stock in the equipment at all, it was just experimental to see if anything would come through that was relevant, and if we could work out if it was using our location through the phone etc. nothing beats good old personal ‘senses’ when investigating. I have just watched this and wow what a treasure 🤟 brilliant investigation loved it 👍 but can I just say I am no way a medium don't really believe in them but I myself feel and see just energy not spirits. Our home has paranormal activity. I once spoke to a child on my stairs. It said ‘are you ok mum’, I’d just shut the door saying goodbye to my sister. I said ‘I’m fine it was just aunty *****, looked at beardo who was sitting in the lounge because as I looked up the stairs there was no kids and he was white. He heard it…. It wasn’t any of our kids that said it, was just me and him down there 😳
Also I will add this place was the most uneasy I’ve ever felt anywhere I’ve been lol I’m open to everything, but yeah, I couldn’t wait to leave that place hahaha

Great investigation, when using GhostTube I kept hearing the bleeping kind of noise, if you look at the magnet bit it is spiking as something has passed by the phone.
Something is really hitting your phone, there has to be something getting near that phone for the spikes to keep going off. This is a cracking investigation so far, listening to this through spatial headphones noises and words are heard often

What are the devices that are prerecorded and only play back a loop? Is it only the phone apps?
I've never heard: "Stop Recording" before. Did "stop recording" go on to prove to be on a loop?
