If the partner is good ... Then we need to put our kidz in hostel... After all at the end no child realise what there parents did for them and they will leave parents.... So, we can look after them but we need to live our life..
Only if my parter is abusive. Parents deserve happiness too. Adult kids wouldnt leave leave their partners if their parents wanted them to so same goes the other way around.

The title is true and false. Parents should avoid saying such things to kids nowadays. It's not the olden days anymore. Kids are being very sensitive and they take extreme/drastic decisions, which ends up loss on us. Hence title is just to grab audience. Wow. That was a great video. I feel the title does not do this episode justice. All the actors were great at their portrayals, but the biological father was played by an actor that has played sympathetic characters on this channel in the past. He was the perfect choice for this role and he really delivered the message of this video. The moral of the story is that a family is work for all those involved. It involves understanding, compromise and sacrifice, a lesson that the daughter learned. I complement the writers of this episode and once again I really like the sound editing. The choice of music was once again perfect. Thank you DramatizeMe actors, production crew and director for a job well done. I really liked this video -- a lot!

@@shadowx2652 I had thought that she went out of the window to go clubbing. Then the mother's statement about jumping out the window supports your statement. Then again, I had a friend that would jump from the second floor to the lawn as a kid with his brother to go out at night. If it was a concrete patio, I would agree with you, but it is a lawn with a clear area to land in. I think it is a toss up as to what was happening. I just got the impression that the girl was too self-centered to attempt suicide and was more set in her mind to go clubbing.

The title is biased. It makes us believe in a story that doesn't exist... The stepfather didn't abuse the girl. He just imposed normal rules that teenagers must observe to give them limits.

It's not easy to be a step-parent. If we discipline the kids,they assume that we are not loving them and just ill treating them and later turn into uncontrolled person...
Parenting is not easy... It can be so demanding
If i have a daughter, i would want to make sure she's safe. Going out very late would concern me very much, if something bad would happen i would never forgive myself.

The stepfather and step daughter both failed, let me explain. The father failed to take into consideration why he's step daughter is acting this way and to brainstorm how to fix it and if those ways of fixing it for example him, him rudely confronting his step daughter about her recent behaviour ( Going to parties late at night and I'm guessing not telling them either) might have unexpected consequences such as her getting defensive and insulting the step father. If he had brainstormed how he's going to confront her (Like gently confronting her about it sometime throughout the day instead of right as she's about to do it) she would of had a more pleasant response instead of acting 'braty' according to you which is complete bullshit as some people get provoked to anger when other people are acting angry towards them. Besides don't be a hypocrite as you have likely done the same thing as her in a different circumstance. And this is all assuming she acting this way FOR NO REASON otherwise it's just the father's fault because he provoked her to act that way. Now I'll explain how the daughter is wrong, she failed to understand that the father acts certain ways to disobedience and she also failed to realise that she's in the wrong morally for going behind her father's back and breaking the rules, such as 3:02"No dating past ten o'clock". She also failed to realise that some parents makes rules for the safety of their child such as the previously stated rule.
Yeahh...they both failed ...but the step daughter had failed the most....i mean...look at her she has everything that is needed in life... she took her freedom to far without considering any limitations... her own father couldn't even take of her like her step dad... he might be a bit harsh to her ... but that's for her own good ..cause she is stubborn...she couldn't even follow the simple rules ...let alone obedience...so tell me what else do u expect from a hard head teenager ...
If it wasn't for her falling off that window then she wouldn't come to her sense and realize that all she had to do was to show some gratitude and appreciation to someone who is taking care of her ...
I think step dad was not wrong. It's right to stop kids if they do anything wrong as girls wanted to go late night with strangers in this case.

The part where he said, she's not my daughter that things is somewhat like an immaturity, sometimes the situation turns out because the kids don't want to accept someone new. Sometimes parents are selfish to put themselves before. I understand parents need a sense of belonging to their partners and happiness they deserve but in many cases it's not a happy ending. The other person needs to know that he she is now acquainted with the child and now they gotta accept him her as their own, marriages are not for selfish reasons they are for selfless positive outcomes. If a single mother or dad finds a new person they have to know about their behavior with the child. Here in this case what I could see is a messed up misunderstanding between Step dad and his Teen daughter. The writer has done a wonderful work of keeping two sides of the story intact.

I re-watched the video to find out the answer, but remain unsure. I forgot to mention that I thought the choice of the doctor was an excellent choice. He always plays a trusted authoritarian figure. Again, the casting choices for all of the roles was excellent, especially the biological father.

Moral: Being a stepparent, or even an aunt/uncle, is, in some ways, easier than being a parent, b/c even though you have a hand in raising the kids, they're not technically your kids. But, in other ways, it can be harder, too, b/c when it comes to between parents & their kids, it's like everything's black & white. But for having stepchildren, it even nephews/nieces, it's like there's a lot of grey areas.

It was a wonderful story as usual, but yes I don't think this is abuse because abuse involves manipulation, etc. I don't think the dad was abusing the daughter in the sense that it's normal for parents to see restrictions for kids, however his language in saying that she has to obey him because he pays for everything could definitely be better. That language was kinda close to abuse but it wasn't it yet.
