why is a group b rally car in this stage

If you mean the Metro 6R4, the Metro was Group B but there were also clubman versions of the car, lower power etc, that competed in national rallies and still do, however to further add to that, this is not quite a Metro 6R4, it is a DAM 4100, built by one of the engineers from the original 6R4 and made with the intention of being better developed than the original.
