Great video and tips. I suggest that you Get paid at least 7 days in full before the event. You don't want to be dealing with payment issues the day of the event.
Also, please review your contract and insurance. If you don't have proper insurance, you are liable for leaving your equipment. It's scary at first but depending on the client (corporate), you are okay!
For camera mode - does the auto mode apply for a dslr booth? I have read so many times in different groups to set the mode to manual.

Do your iPads have cellular data access or do you use a Wi-Fi hotspot or the customers Wi-Fi ?
our iPads have cellular. We also have a hotspot just incase
Can you talk about the logistics of running drop offs? I know it’s “all day” but do you still set pick up and drop off times? I’m a little unsure about that aspect. How do you run it so pick up and drop offs don’t interfere?
You would need to have a sturdy photo booth that's not easy to push or pick (once it is set up). Depending on the software, the drop-off booth is all digital with no prints (or DSLR camera). Prints and a DSLR may require an attendant (and it's not considered a drop-off booth). The photo booth app is ready for the event and once the event is over, the booth (app) turns off or ends. You can put on GUIDED ACCESS and you can remote in to see the event (photos, GIFs, etc).
What do you do if u have to drop it off at 11am and the party starts at 6pm? Do you drop it off and leave it on ? Or is there a way to turn it on at the time the party starts?
Yes, you turn on GUIDED ACCESS which will start and stop according to the event (you and the client agreed upon). Also, GUIDED ACCESS prevents others from opening and closing other apps on your iPads).
