Coheed and Cambria are like Rush meets Iron Maiden meets some really poppy emo band from the early to mid 2000’s. The Amory Wars is like Guardians of the Galaxy and X-Men meet Star Wars, with a little dash of Stranger Than Fiction.

I have always been aware of the story and characters, but have never dived into it completely. Your videos are exactly what I was looking for. Thank you so much for making these. Side note: I just saw them Saturday March 5 here in Richmond and it was the absolute best show of the four I have seen. The energy ,enthusiasm, setlsit, literally everything was just perfect. If anyone has a chance to go see them while they are on tour right now I can not recommend it enough. They are on a different level right now. The good thing is you don’t need to follow the story to appreciate the music, it just adds to the experience for those who like to know the meaning behind lyrics. Omg thank you so, so, so much for this! I'm a huge C&C fan, and I've never had the chance to read the Amory Wars. And you're so pretty too 😍

Yoooo! I find your nerdiness on this topic quite endearing :D
If you're looking for some other amazing concept albums check out Metropolis Pt. 1 and then the Album Metropolis Pt. 2 by Dream Theater. James LaBrie's vocal style was an acquired taste for me, but it's some of the most amazing music ever made. You will definitely love it I promise!
Also, every album Symphony X made were concept albums based off of The Odysee, Paradise Lost, Dante's Inferno, and other tasty shits! Might be too dudely for most girls though, but they're the most underrated band of all time IMO :D

Dream theater has been on my list to talk about for a while now. James LaBrie’s vocals are definitely and acquired taste and one I haven’t completely acquired just yet, but I’m getting there! I’ll probably be covering Metropolis sometime in the coming months.
And I am a fan of Symphony X! I’ve only listen to one of their albums though. I’ll have to dive into their concepts. Thank you for the suggestions!!

@@JJMetalhead Oh wow! Okay so after leaving that comment I realized that your video was actually a book review and I felt kinda dumb because I assumed it was about the album. So I'm surprised and alarmed and pleased to hear that you actually are a fan of these musical things in addition to the paper and reading ones!

@@yourmomsfriedgravy No worries! This was actually my first video. I covered the entirety of the Amory Wars lore and then moved on to other concept albums. It’s what my channel ended up being about after awhile and it fun:)
