    There's not too much of these diesel DA40 in the market.
    Other than lower payload and probably performance, is there any disadvantage compared to say the NG model?

      Hi!
      Less powerful engine and older Garmin (not NXI), however, NGs had several issues with those Austro engines, therefore at the moment i would recommend TDI version if that suits your needs. We have one for sale…

    0:38 why MFD breaker is pulled ? It's not written on the C/L.

      The DA40 has a pretty weak battery. At my school, we don't pull the circuit breaker, but sometimes the G1000 shuts off on its own once the starter pulls enough current from the battery. Maybe they are taking all measures to protect systems and use as little power as possible.
