Hey! No all of them open up but you need to un screw it from the top where the lid has a design. Hold the bottle in one hand and twist the flower part of the bottle counterclockwise 🔄 if it helps put a cloth on the lid when opening first time 🥰

Isn't strong and authentic kohl /surma supposed to burn your eyes ? If doesn't, then it must have been cosmetic or mixed with other ingredients.

You already have eye makeup on so it’s difficult to tell the difference between pre and post. May be try it on with bare eyes without mascara
