I’m a huge Gibson guy, but Epiphone is starting to win me over especially with the cheap prices
I’ve always thought that they’d sell a ton of these if they offered them in white….
I’d get one. I have an epiphone Les Paul custom in white and boyyyy I’d love a matching explorer to hang next to it.
If they offered in natural or white I would buy one.

Would be nice if Epiphone brought back the Goth line of guitars and basses, including the Explorer but this time, include a Goth Firebird too. Don't know why that model was left out of the Goth series. I love my Goth T-Bird but, I would like a Goth Explorer _(now that I've picked up guitar as well)_ and especially a Goth Firebird to compliment my T-Bird.

I got one of these about a month ago, great guitar right out of the box. Absolutely love it. I agree if they made one in white, no PG or with a black PG id buy another one lol 😂

Just a gloss white with matched headstock with no pickguard and it’s a WIN for me. Or black with no pickguard and it also works for me
this guitar is great but definitely it should be available in more colours ! especially in white
Would be great I definitely agree but probably won't happen . It seems to me that sg and especially les paul are the only shapes epiphone has more than a couple finishes for
Looks great and all, but this being a guitar demo, maybe get a proper amp/mic next time. Those tones were totally uninspiring and made all the pickup combinations sound the same.

You read my mind... do they want to sell them? Sounds like it running through a 1987 crate amp and the pickups are shorting out
I didn't hear a single difference in the tones and you can't tell tone if there's distortion on it anyway, just brightness.
Love how they omitted mentioning the fingerboard material

I bought one of these. The grain in the fretboard on mine is sweet. This is a great guitar.

Fretboards on these are absolutely fantastic
as if rosewood or not really mattered? lol biggest factor they should be doing is high quality frets

Bro, my dream is to have an Epiphone Les Paul Standard 50s but the problem is that in Brazil it is very expensive😞
I own this guitar. It’s a good looking and feeling guitar. Although this guitar is not good whatsoever, within a couple of days I discovered multiple dead frets on the high E and B string, frets 1-3. I believe it’s because of a twisted neck or the action at the bridge. Either way this guitar is worth it if you only play rhythm not lead.
i thought the pickups were weak too. Leads don't matter to me though, cause I suck at that.
that can be addressed and also if you buy from a store find one that has a plek machine and have it scanned youll find the issues right away most time guitar need a proper setup even the more expensive ones too

Yeah they need to step up and make this one and the Epi V in White. Now that would be standing out big time. I have the Ebony V now, neck is more deep to me, but overall its a solid guitar. Needed a V as a backup to all my others for gigs and didn't want to overspend for one. But I'd by a White one if they would make it. So come on man, make them both in White.

Bring back the Epiphone Goth Explorer! It had a clean fingerboard with no inlays, a better sized and shaped headstock, the logo was not on the tip, ruining the shape (I hate the position of the Gibson logo)

I have a question 😐 PRS offers an affordable line of guitars but they are still called PRS with a se designation Fender offers an affordable line of guitars but still call them Fender wits a Squire designation so should Gibson actually call their affordable line of guitars Gibson instead of totally separating themselves from the affordable line they call Epiphone ? Why not just call it an affordable Gibson 😐

@@scottanderson4175 Because they are a weird and loyal lot. 🤣 Any perceived diminishment of their prized guitars with the coveted gibson head stock and logo would be unacceptable in their eyes. They would flip out on Gibson. "Im not paying $2,500 to $10,000+ for Gibson only to see that logo and headstock on a sub $1000 china made guitar. Its a bridge Gibson is not willing to cross. ha Ya asked, there is your answer. ha
