It’s literally the civ bonus. I think it’s insulting to call it BM or toxic. It’s like other civs not using their bonus.
Delhi is meant to build walls, I mean their infantry can build walls for a reason. It's like saying Ottomans using siege is toxic

It's not a cheesy strat, it's using What's at your disposal and what you can do to deny a win condition no wonder how "bad manner" or "unsportsmanship" it may look like.

I don't think its cheesy, though I don't think I have ever seen it used at the top level.
Generally speaking cheesy is defined as something that works when your opponent has never learnt how to deal with it, IE new players first time you are tower rushed. However that fails miserably as soon as your opponent is good.
The only way in my mind to find out if this is cheesy is if it continues to work as a legitimate strategy in the next game he plays agaisnt Beasty.

I don't think anything is "cheese" when it come to Top players. There's a reason they're best in 🌎. Either they counter it, or game is "broken". For Gold level, like me, I consider mass longbow cheese and rage quit lol

I think the map was very much favoured for Beasty... sacred site victory was kind of impossible because of that one sacred site for which May would have to run around the map. But, May still managed a victory, impressive stuff.
Himself being walled in like that made him unable to focus on doing what made him so strong against other people in the first place.
Where he was had like he was just an AOE 2 extreme AI being cheesed out to its defeat, hahahahaha.
May building all these Walls hahaha I am loving it haha so petty 🤣🤣🤣

The resource walling seems like a cool strat for team games actually imagine playing mongol delhi and one player tower rushes and the other walls off all secondary golds or english-delhi. One player goes dark age MAA.

Yeah. Drongo was like go to Imp and get great bombard, I'm like he should go to imp and make Sea gate for defense..... then finally it'll be fair fight. Otto with that faster rate free units/GB in imp is just broken.
Going castle is CRAZY to me considering how greedy he was with the double deer push and now he just got got pressured off it with none yet harvested.

Might be a high level strat, but doesn't make it any less toxic. Cheese strats aren't cool.
It's not any more toxic or cheese than Mongols tower rush which is the optimal strat for them since release and is unfortunately still not being addressed.
