Watching these movies makes me realise how lucky I am to have been raised in my beautiful Samoa and went to school there as a gay teenager. Never was i bullied for being gay and i was out at such a young age. You would never dare bully anyone or you would deal with the harsh punishments

My brother was the victim of two 18-year-old bullies in 2006 in Victoria, BC. They beat him to death on the harbor docks. They attacked him so hard that it was impossible to identify his body. For nothing, for fun only.

Pas seulement dans les lycées, aussi au niveau des gouvernements. C'est à eux de faire et éditer les lois qui protègent les victimes de harcèlement ET de punir sévèrement leurs bourreaux.

Human rights for all don't matter anymore. I wish no young people would never have to go through anything like what we can see in this film...

Yo sufrí mucho acoso escolar y en el barrio... la sociedad es muy cruel. Llevé a tener bajo autoestima... hoy en día padezco de distimia crónica (depresión). He pasado por mucho... (soy una persona afable, cariñosa, empatica, etc.) La sociedad es cruel... No tengo pareja... me he sentido utilizado. El mundo seria mejor sin juzgar a las personas por su orientación sexual, raza, etc. Vivir y dejar vivir... cada persona es libre y nadie, ni nada se tiene que anteponer... por un mundo mejor y apoyar al colectivo lgtbi.

Le harcèlement quel qu'il soit est le fléau mortifère de notre société.
Tant qu'il ne sera pas considéré comme un véritable problème; les morts s'accumuleront pour chaque couche de société.
Il faut éditer des lois contre les harcèlement ET les harceleurs, pour protéger les victimes quelques soient leur nationalité, âge, religion.
Le jeu des acteurs est remarquable et très poignant.
Malheureusement, pour les protagonistes qui poussent au suicide Francis et Tim, pour eux ce n'est qu'un jeu.
Pour le harceleur, harceler n'est qu'une blague sans conséquence. Pour sa victime, harcelé c'est la fin du bonheur de sa Vie!
Pour d'autres raisons (entre-autres j'étais GROS), j'ai également connu ce genre de harcèlement pendant des années et des années.
Pourtant, à l'époque, internet n'existait pas............

Esta peli es mil veces mejor que las tonterias que saca hollywood con sus historias todas tontas, en la comunidad siempre estamos siendo acosados juzgados etc...y eso no lo sacan en tv nacional, algún chico en este momento esta ssufriendo bullyng pero mucho loco solo lo toma como broma.

Pretty stupid teachers to not put two and two, one and one together. From knowing he was close to his friend who jumped the bridge, hearing him say everyone is a hypocrite, determination to beat Jeff running, doing so well then quitting…nothing to see here! Dad and coach into their own expectations not Tim’s. As long as he made them happy, no need to figure anything else out.
You can make movies where these horrible people who commit bullying answer for their evil and criminal acts and don't go unpunished and the innocent are saved.

Estou em joque, nao esperava esse final, mas é o que acontece com frequência em meu pais, Brazil, mes passado um garoto de 14 anos foi espancado. Por 4 no banheiro da escola e quebraram a coluna do menino, ele nao resistiu.
Também não esperava esse final. Pensei que ele ganharia a prova fazendo os 1:54, que teria forças para superar seus agressores também fora da pista, com a ajuda de sua fiel amiga, que conquistaria o respeito de toda a sua turma de escola, que os maus pagariam com o desprezo geral, que os bons triunfariam finalmente. Mas parece que o filme retrata o mundo real, não é ? A culpa pelo final não é do filme mas do mundo. Infelizmente. Em tempo: sinto demais pelo ocorrido em sua cidade, pelo menino de 14 anos assassinado. Fico triste e envergonhado de isso ainda ocorrer em nosso país.
