I would definitely have put that 84 Denver in a flip. Also would like to say you are very lucky when it comes to roll hunting. I myself consider myself pretty lucky as well now I have not found as much stuff as you I have found several different cuds I have also found four of the 2021 retained die breaks.
I don't know why. But it's really irritating when people say they have a double die just because there is a microscopic line over or under a letter or two. A real DDO is that of a 1955DDO for example where it's actually a full double smack and not just a mini overlay.
Any Lincoln Cent 1981 and before is 95% copper. 1982 is a transition year where some could be copper, some zinc (either weigh them or ping sound test for copper). 1983 and newer is 97.5% zinc.
Although it is illegal to destroy cents, you can smelt them down to ingots and sell those for scrap. However, you will spend more for the gas to fire the furnace than the copper is worth. Ergo, there is no point in keeping them.
yeseteray i hunted a box of pennies and got 49 wheaties and 1 canadian. some older ones i found were 1919s, 1921s, 2 1929s, and 1935
Yes I would get that 1984 graded, it still has the cartwheel affect. Nice DDO on the 1972. Great video 😁
Awesome wheat penny hunt congratulations on getting 7.8 lbs of copper pennies thanks for sharing diggin Dave
🎇 Them wheat pennies spent on candy back when I was a kid 🎆
Love your videos! I’m currently going through all my pennies I’ve saved for many many years and I’m excited to weigh my copper that I’ve found!
Next time you weigh the pennies tare the container and just dump them into it. Love your videos
Even old pennies have 5% manganese. I wonder if that calculator takes it into account.
Love your streams. Thanks again for keeping on Diggin

How do you determine the copper penny's and what do you do with the copper penny's ?
I am surprised you weren’t keeping them before…
Good stuff
I don't think I've ever found a proof or at least I didn't notice if it slipped through my fingers

Because a penny has to be from1982 and Lower to be a copper penny
