one day I was just singing randomly and one of my budgies stopped eating and flew to the part of the cage that was closest to me, fluffed up his feathers and sat there until i noticed him... then he stared at me blankly like he wasnt listening.
Before my 10 budgie flock goes to sleep, they all perch side by side and hide one foot, and then they grind their beak!

RIP one of my beuttyful budgie, Metilda died yesterday 5/7/2020 may she rest in my backyard peacefully....
My birds had chicks but alot of them died. Its so sad to lose these little beauties. I too had to bury mine in my garden 😔

When did you find out?
My brother had a macaw that could nail the sound of a door latch, the creaking, the closing & footsteps. Had me up all night with a pistol until I figured it out. It lived by the front door.

The calling sound is extremely loud and single Budgie owners will hear this everytime they walk away from their Budgie 🥰 it’s sweet because it means they love you. It’s taken my Budgie 5 months to do that and bond with me but it was worth every minute of wait ! 🤍

When I first got my budgies, we put on "Pass The Dutchie" and they chirped loudly to the music. So now we refer to that song as "Pass The Budgie" lol

I miss my budgies. Yellow and green.
I had two and took them both home at the same time. One pass of naturally. I woke one day to one whistling constantly. Looked into the cage. Yellow was lying motionless. My heart sank. Seeing the green was whistling tapping it with his beak. I teared up and immediately looked for the box for a the pass. I put yellow into the box once I found one. All while green was biting me to point where he drew blood. I didn’t blame green. He was quiet for a week after I buried yellow. Green started whistling constantly. So I let green out of the cage. He followed me every room. He come back to normal. Month later he made clicking noises. I put him back into the cage to sleep. I was watching some tv. I heard him climbing down his cage. Still making clicking noises. Whistles here and there. After awhile I checked up on him. He had pass peacefully. I had known it was coming so I was ready. Told the family he passed. We buried him beside his old friend.
RIP yellow and green. It was great nine years.
Sorry for the long story.
