      @@FishinNStuff love your videos! So I have been going back and watching your older videos as I am a newer subscriber. Going back to your drifting weights. I came up with an idea for you to try instead of buying your solid core lead, take a couple 2x4 pine about 12” long. Clamp them together with c clamps, drill a hole down the middle of the two boards 1/4” diameter. One hole 6” 8” and 10” for different weights. You know what I’m saying? Lol keep up the hard work.

      @@FishinNStuff well I’m glad to hear that or another thing is get some 3/8” copper pipe which leaves 1/4” ID polish the inside best you can and run some lock wire down the center and that would be less labor extensive

    Really like all the hacks you've turned me on to. Like you paying attention for rubber coating on nets to protect the fish. Since so many fishermen are doing catch and release leaving a healthy fish without missing scales or bass with a broken jaw from holding them by the lip makes sense.

  • @RobertSiwik1968

    I literally was just telling my son that I was gonna try flex seal on our big catfish net and boom it was on your video! Rubber nets also keep hooks and sinkers from gettin stuck in them.

    Excellent hacks Buddy 👍🤪. Numbers 5 & 6 are the BEST, especially coating with flex seal . Helping with hooks not , getting integrated . And tears up your experience net . Plus also helps keeping the protection coating of the fish. As you holding a fish in your hands, is like somebody. Picking you up , with HOT IRONS 🔥. The less you touch them, the more chance of survival.

    Back in the day, when I was not only fishing all the time but also riding dirtbikes all the time, I would take a Renthal dirtbike grip that I had sitting in a toolbox and put it on my net. Great video as usual Keith !!! Fellow North Carolinian here … I’m still curious, that with your shop experience and ingenuity, to see if you can come up with some kinda extra boat trailer security … it’s all good if you don’t .. just a thought .. Really enjoy your channel … God’s blessings on you brother …

    • @FishinNStuff

    • @davidbarbour2295
      @davidbarbour2295 Před 2 lety +2

      Yeah, I use all the typical “ball type” locks when storing my boat and work trailer … but there’s so many videos of easily picking those or quickly cutting them off … I had a friend who had his big work trailer stolen in a 10 minute span …I fully understand anything can be compromised, I just thought with watching all your videos , that you might come up with something simple that might aggravate a thief, or take him a little longer … Anyhow, I’ve thought on it myself a bit, but hain’t come up with anything else … So, just a thought .. no biggie .. Maybe you can get enough subscribers that you can retire and just do videos .. Now that right there WOULD be Awesome !!!
