Polygrapher: you’d be really dumb to take this test and lie like really stupid you’d have to be brain dead to actually take this test and lie in it

@@Kitusser doesn't matter. They can see you're a terrible liar
@@Kitusser they literally tell the viewers that, it’s not a secret. The test itself is not the point here. The point is to get the person testing to admit they’re involved in the case and then they try to drag as much information out of them as possible. Especially since the polygraph itself is nothing more than a stage theatre prop.

The truth is way more horrible :
- After the argument with is wife, Chris strangled her to death ( certainly "rage" and the fact that he wanted to get rid of his old life ) (she did not harm the children at all )
- This would wake up one of the kids and Chris would say that her mother was "sick"
- He then dragged his wife through the house to get her where the passengers at the back would have their feet
- He asked the kids to get in the truck aswell, THEY SAT HERE WITH THEIR MOTHER UNDER THEIR FEET DURING THE WHOLE WAY to where he would bury his wife.
- They arrived at the place ( field where he would go at work, with two gaz containers ( like these big cartoys idk what we call them )), then , before he went to bury his wife in the field, he would strangle both of his kids...
- Finally, he did not bury the kids, he simply dumped them, one in each container.
This fucker couldn't even pay respects to his own innocent children, fuck this guy, the detectives didn't need to get his ego up, he was already full of himself.
May his poor family rest in peace.
reading that made me wanna throw up...what a terrible person.
yeah the netflix documentary went through this in detail and it sickened me. he had plenty of chance to prevent the murder of his wife (cos chocking out isnt instant) then he also had the nerve to worry his children and then wait to kill them... IT SICKENS ME!

@@charlesm.2604 They probably learn these techniques and then implement when they personally think it is right whilst conducting the investigation (perhaps with notes)
Chat thinks getting away with IRL crimes and interrogations is “acting” lmao. you literally have to be a sociopath with no emotions to get away with something like this as the prime suspect. This isn’t Watts being bad at acting, honestly the vast majority of chat would do even worse if they were in his situation. You could be a Hollywood actor and would still probably get rolled. It’s just not the same
Lmao that's twitch chats for you
@@dbq6277 Well yeah ofc chat's dumb but that's a maturity thing to do with xQc twitch viewers who watch him for hours lol. Sure he could have "acted" better but in the end the only difference is: do you get the fuck out and not confess. Crying on command is very difficult. Acting distressed is very tiring, so tiring that it wears out people who are actually distressed while faking it is too much. Our mind's short term reward system breaks down trying to put so much continuous effort into something. Like I said, he made the mistake of being interrogated and confessing, and that is the only thing anybody could change without getting lucky.
Oh yeah and the hollywood actor thing is very true. You also have to remember that good acting literally is not good because it's realistic. It's good because it's our idea of "perfect" and believable but not realistic fuck no. You'd have to be an actor AND a detective to even stand a chance.

Detectives: doing nothing
JCS: they are using the pause technique
Chris Dad: "You're gonna need to get a lawyer"
Chris 10 seconds later: "I'm sorry, but I forgot everything you just said."
I already knew about this case, but rewatching it here made me realize something. The poor dad now knows his granddaughters were brutally murdered by his piece of shit son who he will never see again in civilian life.
You should see interviews from his mom. Crazy ass family.
Realistically, why would you ever take a polygraph? They are known to be inaccurate so when you are innocent they could potentially harm you by the machine being wrongfully saying that you are lying, and when you are guilty there is nothing to gain from passing it as it doesn't hold in court anyway. I don't understand.
I have anxiety I reckon I'd fail just being asked my name ffs
Because saying no would make you look guilty “you have nothing to fear if you have nothing to hide”
Yeah me neither tbh, their only purpose is to try to gather evidence against the tester. Innocent or not, you’d still be handing a loaded gun to the person that’s against you. Doesn’t make any sense. I suppose refusal could also be used to sway juror’s opinions, but that seems like the lesser of two evils to me.
The reason they're still used is also part of their tactics, they're essential a trap that only the ignorant fall for. Your response to it can help steer detectives closer to the right path in determining your guilt/innocence, but they can say literally anything they want about the results regardless of what the expert giving you the poly may tell the detectives.
Also, be ready for heavy confrontation should you ever find yourself being asked to take a polygraph and deny. The first thing you'll be hammered with is the implication that you're unwilling because you're hiding something. Do some research on why they're not admissible in court so that, should the occasion arise, you'll have an articulate reason for denying; as you always should.
@@UCt7z4WN-yMyGqDvczlTFXiQthat just make you look guilty not undeniable proof and the burden of proof is on the prosecutor. Even if you're innocent, just shut up and get a lawyer.
Definitely wasn’t me. My wife killed my 2 kids. then I strangled her but I really hope they come home safe! I just want them do barrel into my arms. Because they might still be alive. But yeah she was the one who did it. Really hope they are okay do.

"You failed the polygraph, meaning either you did break the vase, or you're covering the pet's tracks, now I need you to tell me the truth"
A) they don't do the detective work in the field, or determine suspects, that's other people
B) the environment is also a part, you are arrested, put in a box, and cornered
C) you have to be completely ruthless on the person too even if I had these skills I wouldn't put my kid through that lol
the murder was actually very cruel, it went like this:
-strangles wife to death
-wakes up children and dumps them into the back seat (still alive) of the car with their dead mother.
-lets the children be in a panic and fearful state of mind the whole time
-hides the mothers body, slowly smothers the children one by one and dumped them into containers.
