    The truth is way more horrible :
    - After the argument with is wife, Chris strangled her to death ( certainly "rage" and the fact that he wanted to get rid of his old life ) (she did not harm the children at all )
    - This would wake up one of the kids and Chris would say that her mother was "sick"
    - He then dragged his wife through the house to get her where the passengers at the back would have their feet
    - He asked the kids to get in the truck aswell, THEY SAT HERE WITH THEIR MOTHER UNDER THEIR FEET DURING THE WHOLE WAY to where he would bury his wife.
    - They arrived at the place ( field where he would go at work, with two gaz containers ( like these big cartoys idk what we call them )), then , before he went to bury his wife in the field, he would strangle both of his kids...
    - Finally, he did not bury the kids, he simply dumped them, one in each container.
    This fucker couldn't even pay respects to his own innocent children, fuck this guy, the detectives didn't need to get his ego up, he was already full of himself.
    May his poor family rest in peace.

Sure he could have "acted" better but in the end the only difference is: do you get the fuck out and not confess. Crying on command is very difficult. Acting distressed is very tiring, so tiring that it wears out people who are actually distressed while faking it is too much. Our mind's short term reward system breaks down trying to put so much continuous effort into something. Like I said, he made the mistake of being interrogated and confessing, and that is the only thing anybody could change without getting lucky.

    Realistically, why would you ever take a polygraph? They are known to be inaccurate so when you are innocent they could potentially harm you by the machine being wrongfully saying that you are lying, and when you are guilty there is nothing to gain from passing it as it doesn't hold in court anyway. I don't understand.

      @beyondviolet Před 2 lety +13

      Yeah me neither tbh, their only purpose is to try to gather evidence against the tester. Innocent or not, you’d still be handing a loaded gun to the person that’s against you. Doesn’t make any sense. I suppose refusal could also be used to sway juror’s opinions, but that seems like the lesser of two evils to me.

    • @bradlasalle2888
      @bradlasalle2888 Před 2 lety +5

      The reason they're still used is also part of their tactics, they're essential a trap that only the ignorant fall for. Your response to it can help steer detectives closer to the right path in determining your guilt/innocence, but they can say literally anything they want about the results regardless of what the expert giving you the poly may tell the detectives.
      Also, be ready for heavy confrontation should you ever find yourself being asked to take a polygraph and deny. The first thing you'll be hammered with is the implication that you're unwilling because you're hiding something. Do some research on why they're not admissible in court so that, should the occasion arise, you'll have an articulate reason for denying; as you always should.

    the murder was actually very cruel, it went like this:
    -strangles wife to death
    -wakes up children and dumps them into the back seat (still alive) of the car with their dead mother.
    -lets the children be in a panic and fearful state of mind the whole time
    -hides the mothers body, slowly smothers the children one by one and dumped them into containers.
    he isn't just a killer. he is a slow killer, a killer that puts his own victims (and family) in maximum pain, both physically and mentally.
    I'm glad he got caught, he is a terrible terrible shell of a human.
