Great video, got a 150k Fiesta 2010 diesel with this same fault, except no misfire, just a slow leak of coolant somewhere. I do get a slightly different symptom, I get a judder when in 1st gear cold, then gone. Car still drives well enough with this fault though.
Hey 👋 I’d say go have it pressure tested to see if you can find where it’s leaking from, just try catch it before it becomes a bigger problem 👍
My Vauxhall combo was loosing coolant was the heater core blocked good clean out seems good now so far. No struggling to start though 😂
Hey 👋 sounds like you got it sorted before it caused you any bigger problems 👍 nice one
1:56 the captions says: "balls" instead of "bores"! 😂😂
Hey 👋 yes someone else pointed that out, you have gotta love auto captions 😂
I live in Sydney, Aus I got a 2016 ford focus sport with that eco boost engine bought it brand new, then at around 70k km mark I took it to Ford for a service, they asked if I had any concerns like they always ask when you take it in for a service I said yes, the coolant was slowly getting lower and lower all the way past the minimum line. They called me the next day told me that there was a leak in cylinder one and that they would need to replace the engine. Luckily at that time I still had warranty but it was real close to expiring. They said pick up the car and drive it as it will take 3-4 weeks for the engine to arrive and since you will be getting a new engine it doesn't matter how much you damage it, made sense so I drove it untill the engine arrived then they gave me a rental. Apparently it's a big issue in America and that this engine has a big design flaw which they fixed by redesigning the top part of the engine where the coolant goes through to cool the engine. If I could post a pic here on CZcams it would make sense what I'm talking about because Ford did rectify the engine problem it's just that in my case I didn't get the redisigned engine but rather just got it replaced with a new engine but old design. Anyway still got the car it's at 125k km and I love the car it's just that I'm paranoid it will happen again and I would have to fork out thousands for a engine.
Hi 👋 glad to hear you have urs all sorted now! If they done the upgrade you should be good now so don’t worry, let us know if that changes of course! 👍
Hey mate I’m in Melbourne also got the same problem? Did ford fix it under warranty and is there a recall on this issue? Thanks
@conradlaforgue6038 hey I don’t know the final outcome as the customer was trying to get this done through fords warranty, best way to check for recalls as they are vin specific is to call the local main dealer and give them your reg and they will be able to tell you if you have any outstanding recalls or software updates 👍
Failed head gasket will do the same. The dead giveaway is the rough running for several seconds during start up after standing, until the coolant is all ejected from the wet cylinder and proper combustion commences. Some examples of this will remain drivable for months, but eventually the hot, high pressure combustion gas will eat the crack out worsening the symptoms until gas starts visibly bubbling out of the coolant tank…or it sucks the coolant hoses flat. Attended to early might just require a new head gasket, but if left the damage will need a more expensive head and block skim to resurface the eroded areas. If the or block are cracked…well that is gonna cost…a lot.
Hey 👋 that’s a great description and you obviously know your stuff! But yes your right it will cost a lot 👍
I just replaced the coolant resevoir that had this same issue. You all can hate on these cars, I have a 2012 Titanium. After fixing/hacking all the design flaws, I actually love this car. Great mileage, has 150,000 miles on it, and it still runs great. Lower Control Arm = Ball Joint. :)
That’s great! it’s always nice to have a car you love I hope you get many more miles out of it too 😊
@@anniebee760 All ford fiesta and focus from like 2012 to 2016 have a recall on their shitty transmission, I changed mine 6 times. Never paid a single time. (Ford 2013 titanium)
ECM TCM update were so common, and did nothing wrong. I realise its time to change as soon as my car tremble during a start up from a stop and turning, or when it accelerate randomly hyper fast. A quick scan and 1hour later they tell me they'll change (again) my transmission.
Can you explain what are the fixes/hacks for the design flaws?
We have the same car and it’s definitely the worst car we ever had, constant problems and defects, but it has only 60 miles so hoping to keep it at least another 60k
I have a 2012 base model focus and it has gone through a steering rack and heater core failed then the camshaft position sensor broke, the engine mounts needed replacing. this car only has 96,000 kilometers on it. now it's going through coolant but no leak
I have a ford focus Ses i just replaced the radiator, ac condenser and auxiliary fan it runs good. I’m able to start it up , the engine temp doesn’t run hot just a little bit before half and stays there. I’ve just been losing coolant every time I check. I would pour more into the actual radiator and reserve. Any advice or comments?
Hey 👋, my advice would be to go get a pressure test done on the system to check for leakes 👍
The customer being unsure of what he wants to do means do I really want to spend over 3K on a car barely worth 6k. I'd just live with it a while longer thinning out my coolant ratio to 25% while patiently looking for another car. No big hurry.
In the ist few words of what customer said with coolant lost and miss fire in the mornings , I said straight away head crack or head gasket ,, don't know what the garage who put plugs and coil pack on was thinking ..
I have just spent 15000 rand replacing thermostat housing and water pump that I was told was the fault when in fact you have just nailed my fault bang on the head even with the misfire they didn't even pick up. I assume this will become a serious issue if not addressed.
I’m sorry you didn’t see my video before you spent out all that money! I hope you can get it sorted out with out too much hassle! Keep me updated 👍
Ford Kuga. Leaking coolant from a little to all. No other symptoms. In the garage today with engine in bits on the floor. Something to do with a faulty valve 😭
Great video I am going to test it that way however I have done combustion test leak and it came out as negative, dont you think that if there is a coolant leak in one of the cylinder it would had come as possitive?
Thanks for your advance
Hi, thanks for the comment but not necessarily as you will only get a positive if exhaust gases are found in the coolant system. If it’s such a small leak and the gases aren’t getting into the cooling system then obviously it will show negative but the best way to do this is to pressure test the system and then look down the bores with a scope like I did. Let me know how you get on👍
@@MrAutoFixer thanks for your reply I am going to test it with the pressure test and scope later on today and let you know, there is the spark plug on cylinder number 4 white colour do you think that it is the sign?
It could well be a sign as it could be being washed by the coolant to make it clean and white, but best to doublecheck and only proceed when you have a positive outcome on the pressure test
Hi again,
I have done pressure test and it appeared that there was coolant in cylinder number 4 I have taken the head off but I can not see any cracks nor on head and block
@milanmackovic8396 you will need to have the head pressure tested or crack tested, Google local companies that can do it and have them test it properly. 👍
Hi mate. Nice video. I have a problem with my ford fiesta 2009 automatic. Overheating temperatures rises very fast when driving gets to 119 degrees Celsius even though the fan kicks in. When I park and try to rev the engine I notice the temperature start dropping. Also I don’t have heating in the car plus I notice the two hoses that goes into the heater core, the top one is cold/warm while the bottom one is hot. Any help on this please. Thanks
Hi 👋 sorry to hear your having issues, sounds like you have a flow problem so you would need to check the water pump and the thermostat for correct operation, after that you can check the heater matrix to make sure that’s not blocked also. If you’re not confident in testing these then please go to a local garage asap so you don’t damage your engine! Thanks ☺️
Okay. Will take it to a shop on Monday. Just noticed something now. I ran the engine to operating temperature removed both hoses going into the heater core no single drop of water coming out of any of them.
@michaelekeinde3424 Yh defo get it checked out! Let me know how you get on 👍
In that case do you have to replace the engine or head gasket? And how much roughly is the cost of that?
Next step would be to strip it down and find the exact cause, if it’s just a head gasket then replace that but it’s it’s a crack somewhere it’s likely best to replace the engine with a recon one, that could cost around £5k 👍
Wow! That's exactly 100% the same with my 2019 Ram 1500 problem!! I got a misfire engine light when 80k miles. When I brought it to the auto repair, we changed spark plug and coils, and the problem is still there. I smell strong coolant burning only every morning first start. Do you think changing the gasket is likely to solve the problem? Thank you!
I would check with the dealer for any recalls first and if not then a new gasket should fix the issue, all the parts can be inspected for damages and the head can be tested too. Let me know how you get on 😊
Thank you very much! I will work on it this week and will keep you posted here@@MrAutoFixer
Hi@@MrAutoFixer, I ended up sold my truck, I went to some shops near me. the cost to replace the gasket around $3500, and they can't guarantee to fix the problem... One of the shop suggest me to replace the whole engine for $6000...
@kingsleyjiang9600 oh sorry to hear it, sometimes it’s best to just cut ya losses and move on! What are you going to get next then ?
i have ecosport 2019 with 1.0L ecoboost with same symptoms (loosing coolant and missfire when starting cold engine), but only with 46k KMs (yes, not even 50K kms) on dash
those engines are really that bad?
i've got appointment set with my carshop to check if it's really cracked block/head but everything just points at that
sometimes i can't even start the engine, even when it's "hot" lol
sad that, last year warranty ended for my car...
Hey 👋 sorry to hear you are having trouble with your car, hopfully you can get it sorted easily but please keep us updated on how you get on at the garage 👍
@@MrAutoFixer if i only don’t forget about letting you know i will do that - 2hrs ago carshop got my car. we will see what would they find, maybe it’s something small, like some sensor or something like that.
but im bit worried because coolant is missing, but i don’t see any leaks under car, i’ve changed engine oil last week and i did not saw any leaks.
i don’t know, we will see i guess.

@t.g7383 fingers crossed for ya ! Any coolant loss is worrying as it has to be going somewhere!
Hi, i have 2018 ford focus have same issue coolant level going low. I checked in garage there is no leakage. Now i read all this comments white smoke coming from silencer. And also over heat. When i start the car 15 seconds engine shivering. Can you tell to me the reason please......😢
Sounds like exactly what I’m showing in the video , car has been off over night and has a misfire when you first start the car in the morning as then is fine after. If you can’t see a leak then the coolant is more likely leaking internally of the engine. 👍
Hi mate I’ve got a 2013 plate Ford , losing coolant with no leaks or high temperature and not misfiring , I’ve had the pipes all replaced and the coolant box but still losing coolant I’ve been told to replace the water pump now as the mechanic said the engine is running to well to be the head gasket is this accurate?
Hi thanks for reaching out, I would have the checks done as seen in my video before replacing any more parts! Replacing the water pump won’t stop a leak(only if it is in fact leaking) but that would be obvious, maybe try a different garage ? Hope that helps and let me know how you get on! Thanks ☺️
This is what I’ve got back from my mechanic mate £220
Hiya. Got the leak- oil cooler .
I’ve done 2 head gaskets tests to make sure and the first was a little unsure with result so did it again and I think as happy. Then I have a pressurised test system and I had to get the coolant system up to suck a high pressure before it leaked . I’ll have a look what we are looking at. Was a clear spray of coolant when at very high pressure
@matthewbowler8961 that’s good then lucky you didn’t go putting parts on you didn’t need like the water pump ! Hope replacing that fixes your issue 👍
Hi pal. Replaced The water pump and thermostat. The water pump was completely gone. For now no overheating. Thanks for your advice. Please I have a quick question. What’s the normal engine operating temperature for ford engines. Thanks
Excellent 👌 hopfully no more issues and they normally sit half way on the gauge or about 90 degrees ish. 👍
Okay. For now still getting temperatures up to 108 then back to 98 degree c. Will monitor and see. Thanks
If coolant is not touching the coolant temp sensor the temp reading will not show correctly.
Hello. Do you happen if this design issue is still present on 2019 Mondeo 1.5 ecoboost engine?
Hey 👋 thanks for watching, I don’t know off the top of my head, but I’m sure there will be some info online. Sorry I can’t be more help 👍
Hi my ford fiesta 2011 having same issue losing coolant weekly and can't start the engine in the morning once start gear up and drive can't drive more than 1km engine start to shake display shown "engine malfunction" changed plug and coil, cleaned bottle throat but still the same.
Sounds like you have a bigger issue there, you really need to go have it checked out and a diagnostic scan too to see what the fault codes are. 👍
Hi, I'm having an issue where my 1.6 tdci is losing all coolant in the reservoir after 10 minutes of driving. I know its overflowing from little hole near the cap in the tank however I cant stop it, I've swapped the tank and cap 3 times now however still having the issue. Any ideas mate? I've burped the system and it seems fine, no bubbles just cant get my head round it :(
Hi I’ve you have excessive pressure in the coolant tank then you might have a bigger problem like exhaust gasses getting into the system via a failed head gasket my advice would be to go have a sniff test done as that will confirm if you do have a head gasket problem. Thanks ☺️
@@MrAutoFixer what I feared but not what i'd hoped you would say! Thank you for the quick reply, I'll go get her tested. Cheers mate
I'm losing coolant when car not used and aftter used changed teemp sensor, but losing little colant when car parced 1.6 eccoboost
Sounds like you have the same issue at the car in this video I would go have it checked out before it gets worse! Let me know how you get on! 😊
can this happen to a diesel engine too 1.8 TDCI
Yes head gaskets can fail on any engine, best thing to do is go and have it checked out and the relevant tests done for the engine you have 👍
I hope this isn't the case on my fiesta my coolant slowly disappears while driving but there's no misfire or anything like that so I'm still stumped in what it is
Have you had any testing done to find the cause of the leak ? If not ask a local garage to do a pressure test and have a visual inspection 👍
@@MrAutoFixer now I was actually gonna buy one tomorrow, to try and diagnosis it it's not the head gasket or a cracked blocked cause it doesn't misfire or overheat so i think maybe it's the Resevior because the 2012s had a recall for it here
@mikalevans2300 yes have a go always a handy bit of kit to have anyway! Let me know what you find 👍
@@mikalevans2300hey bro how’d you go? did you find out what the issue is ?
Hi, i have a coolant leak on my Ford Focus 1.0 eco boom. If I just keep topping up the coolant, eventually will it damage the engine if I dont get it fixed?
Yes eventually the part that’s leaking will fail and give you problems, your best off getting it checked out and repaired asap really 👍
I took it to the garage and they replaced the thermostat housing but it's still leaking
Can you see the leak ? Is it dripping on the floor ? I would take it back and have a pressure tester put on it and then checked again
I can't see a leak. The garage had my car for 3 days and they didn't hadn't a clue what was wrong with it. They told me to get rid of the car
Hahha what a great garage! I’d go to a better garage that can actually fix cars and have it looked it properly! If it’s loosing coolant it’s either leaking out somewhere or it’s going internal. Just need someone to do the right checks im afraid. 👍
Thanks for the video, on the off chance you see this and have time to reply. My garage is guessing to fix my coolant leak. They replaced the housing where a valve looked like it was getting stuck so fair enough, they want to replace the pump next but confirm it may not fix the problem. 50 miles of driving takes the level well below min, I cannot find anything obvious that I can access based on other videos but the car barely gets to temperature, no heat from the blowers (although I did for a short period after the housing was replaced). IF there is coolant where the plugs are then we buy any car can take it but id rather fix it if I can keep the cost below 4 digits.
Hey 👋 oh dear sounds like a nightmare! You should suggest to the garage to do the checks that I did in my video, if you don’t have a visible leak then it has to be going somewhere and that will either be internal of the engine or inside the vehicle somewhere you can’t see.
I wouldn’t recommend just changing loads of parts for no reason and if the garage don’t have the knowledge then I would go elsewhere to someone that does 👍
@@MrAutoFixerThanks for the offer of support I appreciate it. Im trying to think logically. If the car heaters arent getting up to heat, does that say pump or could a leak still be causing that? Probably going to have to try another garage at least.
@Twillsinc if the heaters are not getting hot it could well be a pump need to check the flow you should be able to look in the expansion bottle when it’s running and see the return flow, or you could have a heater matrix blocked, check the pipes going into the bulk heat and see if both or just one is hot, lastly if you are loosing coolant check the bottle cap as when hot it can loose coolant in the form of vapour which you won’t see also👍
Did you manage to find out why it failed? How did the crack get there, was the car overheating and caused the crack?
Unfortunately not, the customer decided to take it back to the dealer to see if they would cover the repair bill. The car had no other symptoms apart from a misfire for a few seconds when starts from cold.
Genuinely hope mine doesn’t have that problem and is just a hose leak or a bad reservoir cap.
Why doesn't the compression gases push back into the cooling system ? The pressures in a cylinder when fired in far far greater than water jacket pressure.
That is a good question, I don’t have the answer as I didn’t get to strip it down to find out what the exact fault was I’m afraid, 👍
Hello there. I don't have a ford car but a Volvo V40 1.6 Diesel MY2014 which is actually a focus using a PSA engine. About a month ago I had a message for high engine temperature and slow down the car. I stopped the car at once and some coolant had been blown from the tank. I went to a local engineer, he changed the thermostat and then after refilling coolant he pressed something to take air of the system. After that, I went to the dealer, they used a flange test to check if there were exhaust gas in the tank, checked the engine temperature, the coolant level, any leakage, everything was fine. What I notice are few bubbles in the tank after some time of driving which is not like a boiling water but rather like air. Any ideas what to do please?
Hey 👋 well if you have all the checks done and everything is ok then all you can do is keep an eye on the level and if it starts to drop or overheat again then go back for some more testing. Hope that helps 👍
@@MrAutoFixer thanks for the very fast response!! About these lil bubbles I see in the tank any idea please? I also hear when I'm in the cabin something like water running behind the dashboard.
From past experience that sound behind the dash board could be an air lock or a partially blocked heater matrix, best advice would be to go to someone who can look at it properly and get you a diagnosis.👍
@@MrAutoFixer thank you very very much! The hmmm well known issue of the head gasket about this model and engine would be something to seriously consider?

Repared headgasket but still losing coolant 1.6 ecoboost 2011 pls help pls plss
Hi, so a few things to check now would be to put a pressure tester on it for a few hours at pressure and the look in the bores for coolant, did you have the head skimmed and pressure tested while off ?
My coolant is disappearing also. I have changed both caps, and it is still doing this. There are no leaks and the guy that changed my spark plugs said that it was nit keaking in the engine cause he wanted to make sure it was not the gasket but it is still disappearing. I can not seem to find the problem and I don't have money like that to take it to the shop. 😢
When they removed the spark plugs and checked did they have a coolant pressure tester hooked up ? And did he use a scope to look down the bore ?
@MrAutoFixer He had some type of pressure tool to check the coolant, but not what you used to check inside where the spark plugs was.
@Dyzhane926 ok that’s cool to do the test I did you need the pressure tester on for about an hour before checking and you really need a scope to be able to see the edge where the coolant would sit.
@MrAutoFixer No, it was a bit of time, but I don't believe it was an hour. Yeah... he didn't use a scope. He just changed the spark plugs our. I wish this was a simple fix, but I know I will find out what is going on. I'm just trying to fix it as much as possible, either myself or with him, cause he is a reasonable priced mechanic. I am going to show him this video when I talk to him again.
@Dyzhane926 ok that sounds good, I’m sure between you both you will get the the cause of your issues, keep me updated on what you find out 👍

Were there any other signs? Any white smoke or water in the oil?
Hey 👋 no on this occasion there were no other signs apart from a slight misfire when cold, if the fault was able to develop I’m sure more symptoms would be apparent like white smoke or overheating etc.
@tillanel8323 hey 👋 it normally means coolant is being burned by the engine normal cause is a blown head gasket 👍

Hi, i actually have an identical problem with my Focus 2013... Coolant begans to down, but no leaks or anything... The only thing i can notice is after a few hours of let the car turned off... I lift the hood and notice a little smell like coolant... I checked the exhaust... Nothing... I checked the spark plugs... Nothing and no misfire... And i change the reservoir recently with the cap and still tye same problem... I think there's a little little crack on radiator that cause the coolant evaporates... But i dont know what to think...
From what you have said you need to test with a pressure tester when it’s cold so no evaporation can occur, leave the pressure tester on for a few hours and check for leaks. Let me know what you find 👍
@@MrAutoFixer i took the car to a mechanic center and they put the pressure tester, indeed the pressure begans to drop very slowly, they checked under the car looking for leaks on radiator, hooses, water pump, thermostat, but nothing... Even they make another type of test, which consists of turning on the car with the pressure gauge connected and seeing how it takes pressure, according to the mechanic, it must maintain between 5 and 10 PSI and just at the moment in which the fan turns on, the pressure that must be at 10 PSI should drop to 5 PSI and when it turns off it should start to rise again, if for some reason the pressure rises more than 10 PSI, then it indicated that there is damage to the head gasket because then the pressure from the cylinders would be reaching the coolant system and that would indicate that the coolant is going to the combustion chamber. In that Test it never exceeded 10 PSI, when the fan was turned on, the pressure dropped to 5 psi and was maintained until the fan was turned off and the pressure slowly begans to rise again. Besides the fact that I don't have Misfire codes and I don't have white smoke from the exhaust, the only thing that makes me think is that the car has some porosity in a hose or in the radiator and precisely when it cools down the coolant evaporates and goes through that porosity. For now, I applied the Liqui Moly Stop Leak to see if the leak stops. Anyway, what would you recommend I do now? Or do you think that the test I wrote is useless and I need to see if the coolant is actually going to the combustion chamber?
Hey 👋 if they put the tester on and it does indeed drop slowly then that would indicate some sort of leak, all the tests while running are irrelevant, I would pressure test it again and check inside the cylinders to be sure it is or is not that? 👍
May I ask why a crack and not just a bad hg ? Did u find the cause ? Crazy
Hi it could be a head gasket but these engines are prone to cracking, so could have been either.no I didn’t find out exactly what the fault was as the car went back to dealer under warranty 👍

Ford's 2.0L ecoboost is known to fail this way.
Yes it think all the eco boost engines can have this problem, I’ve seen quite a few now
@MrAutoFixer The 2.0l ecoboost Ford engine has a service bulletin about this specific failure. It is well known like the Focus/Fiesta clutch issues.
Do you trust the gasket to be ok when the engine gets hot and the engine gets extended enough to crack the gasket what’s is about the gasket isn’t the quality problem !
Hey 👋 well the only way to tell would be to strip down the engine and have a look to see where the fault is, it could be a gasket fault or it could be a cracked head or something else no way to know for sure until an inspection is done 👍
I think I’ve got this issue with my 2011 1.6. Just scared if the money it’ll cost me

@@MrAutoFixer I have seen replacement engines for £500 but taking labour into account, what is the maximum I should’ve thinking about paying if I need a new engine? Appreciate the quick reply
@eths_games hi £500 is cheap for a engine, labour wise to swap a engine you will be looking at £500 easy I would have thought. 👍
@@MrAutoFixer appreciate it. I bought the car for 3000 but I’d probably find the engine being more affordable than getting a new car. Just sucks to try and diagnose as I keep losing coolant and seem to have some kind of misfire only on startup
@eths_games if you can have the coolant pressure test done and someone that knows what they are looking for you should be able to find the leak and then go from there 👍
Not just an Ecoboost problem - mysterious coolant loss/overheating & blown coolant reservoirs a common complaint among Focus, Fiesta & Figo owners. Not always easy to get to, but drilling a 3 to 4 mm hole in the thermostat should help coolant circulation. Better still, avoid Fords, shit engineering in my opinion.
Hey 👋 yes I would agree they are not quite like they used to be! Thanks for watching 😊
@melsagelord3991 hi that’s a great question. I can’t say I have any preferred brand as I work on every make of vehicle I see problems with every brand of vehicle so my advice would be to buy something you like and is comfortable for you. Just make sure it’s got good service history and you keep up with that good service history and there’s no reason why any vehicles shouldn’t last you a long time

Hi all. I have a problem, the coolant is not leaking. But when I drive fast and then turn off the engine, the coolant boils in the reservoir. What could be the problem??? I haven't seen this before.
There could be many things causing this, I would recommend going to a garage for a diagnosis rather than just guessing. 👍
@@MrAutoFixerI have an OBD2 scanner. I did the diagnostics myself. There are no errors.
You may have a mechanical fault like water pump starting to fail which won’t show up on a code scan, you should do a head gasket sniff test to rule that out and then look at the water system like pump or thermostat and the cooling fan. 👍
Is it expensive to strip it down and stuff
Will just be time, so depending on the hourly rate, I would allow at least 2-3 hours for a decent strip down and inspection. Then you will know what the fault is and able to get a more accurate price for the repair. Thanks
@vrxpct5305 is say about £200 for a strip and look, and then what ever the fault is on top for the repair.
@vrxpct5305 prob will be 4 digits with the repair as well depending on the actual fault
Combine this with their dual clutch automatic transmission failure, and it makes you wonder how Ford is still selling vehicles.
Yes sometimes I do think that also, but I can’t complain as broken cars is what I do lol 😆
dct failure is from the transmission control module. There's a recall on it and its completely free.
@@BB6Teardropyep and it's the 2011 to 2015 model that has the transmission problems which I had and traded it in for a 2016 model which had a new 6speed automatic which was smooth af but at 70k km I had coolant leak in piston number 1. At the time the car was a month away from warranty expiring so Ford put in a new engine. In the US it's a big issue as these engines are in multiple ford models. I spoke to a guy from the US who sent me pictures of why it was happening and what the old engine block looked like and the new redisigned block head looks like. In my case they put a new engine in but from the old design which makes my car prone to having the same issue again. At the moment car has done over 125k km but I'm paranoid of it happening again and this time Il have to fork out the money because warranty expired years ago. It's just that I like the car and here in Australia we have a massive shortage of cars because of the Covid lock down no cars were brought into the country for over a year and now second hand cars are gone through the roof but to buy a new one, there is a minimum 9 month to 2 year wait.
Not much of a mystery. Pretty obvious in fact. Plugs out, crank it over and look for water spray.
@@MrAutoFixer That's true. Another trick I do is to put a white paper towel over the plug holes and then wind it over and then inspect the towel for any evidence.
AI subtitles need a little more work.
Yes they do that’s my fault for not checking them fully before uploading 😂
I have a ford focus Ses i just replaced the radiator, ac condenser and auxiliary fan it runs good. I’m able to start it up , the engine temp doesn’t run hot just a little bit before half and stays there. I’ve just been losing coolant every time I check. I would pour more into the actual radiator and reserve. Any advice or comments?
I would say go have a pressure test done as it will show up if and where the leaks are 👍 let me know what you find
