Long before they played regularly on Long Island, we would go see them at various venues in New Orleans (their hometown) in the late ‘70’s. they were one of the best Zepplin cover bands ever. Randy could hit all the Robert Plant notes. They were playing many of the songs on their 2nd album before they made their first. Rock on Zeb.
@@rainmakerjim They played at many places in the early 80s in Louisiana. I don't remember the name of the nightclub the first time I saw them. It was a *very* popular club in the 80s and it was either in Shreveport or Bossier City. It was a huge 2 story building and when they had live acts the best view of the stage was from the upper floor.
I never saw them live in Miami where I lived my life with all the concerts I went to. Who would have thought 5 and a half years ago I’d be moving here to your Arlington Texas. Their Zebra 3.V album was their best album as a whole but this was my favorite song of theirs. You guys must listen to that entire third album. Wow!
This and "Whose behind the door". That's it. Sucks too cuz these two were on par with bands like Triumph! They just didn't have the "consistency" as other bands and, in their defense, because there're only 2 albums that I know of, I'm willing to bet that their lack of consistency had allot to do with "company restraints"...like a lack of time to do an adequate job that the band themselves were COMPLETELY SATISFIED WITH! Boston had the same problem and you see where they are today. Styx is divided and that ain't all "egos" there either. Floyd? Same. "Have a cigar", right?
Most underrated band ever
they rock ..
This guy is one of the top five best vocalists in rock music. Phenomenal!
killer - no autotune but raw talent
I saw them live almost every weekend at Speaks on Long Island you should have been there they were amazing.

I saw Zebra as a rising star band in Seattle, their opening act was a local band doing their first live gig.....Queensryche.
The vocals that night might have been the best on one stage, ever

closed my eyes and thought it was Robert Plant
He stopped performing it like this after awhile
I was just thinking that as well reminds me of Rick!

I want to meet Zebra band 2024
New Orleans original
What do you want Randy Jackson?
Rik Emmett with half the talent. Still good.
Plus Rik wouldn't be all sweaty.
Idk if I’d say that at all. You don’t know what you’re talking about
@@JakeDoesMusic.15 Yawn. There's no comparison.
@@DaveStarks-ku2jd
Was not an Emmett copycat. Jackson was unique. Different songs different pitch. You’re reaching on this.
@@beyondonethousand They'll never be another Rik Emmett.
Jackson was good.
Seen them both many times.
I'm trying to figure out what your point is.
Haters gonna hate 🤷🏼♂️✌🏼
He reminds me of Rik Emmitt
Rick cant sing this..
@@VidFunZip lol Get your ears checked.
Plus he would have ripped the guitar to shreds.
You can't be serious dude
@@DaveStarks-ku2jd I've seen both band many times.. my opinion stands
@@VidFunZip So does mine. I have also seen them both many times. Emmett has no peers. You probably think Rik sounds like Geddy.
@@DaveStarks-ku2jdYou'd compare Elvis and Frank Sinatra
Hd audio my butt, this sounds poor.
Video is 1080p. Audio is 192 kbps. Which is considered HD. Although CZcams does compress everything. Check your playback settings.
This is pure magic on my Bose speaker 🔊
Timing is really bad..not to be critical. but that drummer is a mess.
That was awesome! Brings me back to the 80's.
