Conegliano have a larger and stronger squad overall, so it will be difficult for Scandicci to beat them (but not impossible as we saw in Match 1). There is so little time to recover after each match for the players and you can see how tired they are physically. Scandicci always sticks to the same players with almost no rotation. Serve reception is definitely one of their weak spots and it cost them lots of points. Defense can definitely improve as well. Haak was incredible today, but that is also because of the great support she receives from Moki and Wołosz. Plummer was also able to contribute more to the offense today. I look forward to seeing how much Ekaterina Antropova will improve in the future. She seems like a promising player for Italy and I think she still has room for improvement. Experiences like this will definitely help develop her as a player. ( I hope she comes to VakifBank 💛🖤one day or play in Türkiye)
The real problem, Rin, was an ex-player: Zhu Thing, no one block, no service(a free ball to Conegliano), no spikes on the floor, neither a decent reception and a "Libero" and Mid-Players in wrong evening... All team Scandicci on the shoulders of Maya, Herbots and Antropova, in theses conditions, Scandicci had make an half-miracle to resist so long....

You could've picked another game to prairie Zhu ( who is a great player) : yesterday nite she was quite ineffective, average percentages and finally she got lost into Imoco's deep sea. And her reception was bad in 3rd set and even worse in 4th...
I knew Coneg would win this one on their home court advantage because they learned a hard lesson in game 1. They start to play with more seriousness and conviction. Haak is spectacular - one shot, one kill and I'm not a bit surprised if her pay check is twice in comparison to her teammate. Never underestimate the heart of the champion. Wolosz used more of the middle block to attack this time and it's more unpredictable for Scandicci to handle.

If there is no Zhu Ting, probably no place for Scandicci in finals. Zhu Ting got most points as a outside hitter in most matches, she is always been targeted by opponent's serves. This kind of pressure is not seen on other players. In 2nd match of final, Zhu received 42 serves, unbelievable. In this match Zhu also scored 12 points, not bad. Just she was replaced by coach in the 3rd and 4th set.
@@kangz4883 The decision to replace Zhu was right. She didn't play well yesterday, she made too many bad receive and her attack wasn't effective. Ruddins did well replacing her, but she made one crucial error in the last point for the 3rd set. They should've let her play the 4th set. I hope Zhu will show up in her top performance in the next game.

Scandicci può recriminare sulla febbre di Nwakalor che ha indebolito il muro delle fiorentine e, considerata anche l'assenza di Villani per infortunio, ha costretto Barbolini ad effettuare a una girandola di cambi per mantenere in campo il numero di italiane come da regolamento. Contenere Haak in stato di grazia si è rivelato molto difficile. Zhu Ting non era partita male ma poi si è spenta ed è sembrata quella del girone di andata, spesso criticata anche dal sottoscritto.

Forse la pausa dell'estate scorsa non le ha fatto bene. Vedremo. Impariamo a conoscere le giocatrici piano piano, con il tempo. Ad esempio sto capendo che Herbots è una grande agonista che ha bisogno di forti stimoli, cosa che non è avvenuto a Novara, in panchina, o al Bisonte, squadra di metà classifica.

Se la avrà potrà scendere in campo come italiana nel club ma il discorso nazionale non è realistico. Per cambiare nazionale dovrebbe fermarsi per almeno tre anni e non credo sia quello che lei vuole.
Insieme con gara 2 di Novara contro Conegliano, la più bella partita di questo campionato. L'opposta di Conegliano Haak è stata straordinaria: la vedremo con la Nazionale svedese in amichevole contro l'Italia di Velasco al Pala Igor di Novara il giorno 8 maggio. Per Scandicci buona la prova di Antropova e del libero Parrocchiale, sciaguratamente esclusa dal nuovo CT che, purtroppo, è già partito con il piede sbagliato.
Scandicci rimane viva anche grazie al servizio di Antropova che quasi ad ogni turno mette giu due punti e Conegliano sembra soffrirla psicologicamente oltre che tecnicamente
Non devi avere una grande considerazione di Scandicci se riduci tutto il suo gioco al servizio di Antropova, che in questo fondamentale ha fatto 4 ace e 5 errori.

Chiaro che non è solo quello, difendono benissimo , non mollano mai e in attacco diciamo che è ancora Antropova a fare i punti e non prendo in considerazione solo l'ultimo match è stato cosi' in tutte e tre le partite. Per questo dico che IMOCO soffre psicologicamente oltre che tecnicamente la battuta di Antropova
@@samazza763 se parliamo di servizio, allora la stessa cosa si può dire delle battute di Lubian e Haak che hanno sempre messo in crisi Scandicci. Il gioco di Conegliano e in genere delle grandi squadre della pallavolo moderna parte da un servizio potente ma poi ovviamente è anche altro, nel maschile e da qualche anno anche nel femminile. Senza offesa ma mi sembra un'analisi un po' parziale a differenza di altre che ho letto (vedi ad esempio quella di @Pedrito) . Le prime due partite sono state molto equilibrate, 10 set in tutto, nella terza ho avuto l'impressione che Conegliano abbia preso le misure in difesa e a muro agli attacchi di Scandicci. La febbre di Nwakalor e una Zhu in calo hanno fatto il resto. Vediamo cosa succederà stasera.

Conegliano non ha mai perso set nei quali era in vantaggio di 5/6 punti nella fase finale invece è capitato due volte in tre giorni, ed è successo entrambe le volte con una serie di Antropova. Non dico mica che Scandicci sia tutta li. non arrivi a giocartela con conegliano se non sei una squadra forte e completa. dico che quando c'è equilibrio un fattore puo' spostare l'ago. Non ne faccio una colpa per Scandicci ma un plus. Che dire partita ancora molto bella, ma non bellissima, perché, a mio modesto avviso: già dal primo set si è capito che Conegliano stasera fosse più compatta, Scandicci parte un po’ in svantaggio con Nwakalor febbricitante (svantaggio che nel corso della partita si evidenzierà maggiormente), in compenso sfodera una Herbots delle migliori, purtroppo non bene Zhu (non ho ancora capito se Conegliano abbia fatto un affare il prossimo anno, solo il tempo ce lo dirà…), sostituita più volte da Ruddins, decisamente più concreta, ma certo non ai livelli tecnici offensivi della giocatrice cinese… Parrocchiale compie miracoli, anche tutte le altre giocatrici di Scandicci cercano di dare il meglio e lo fanno… Antropova sempre devastante in battuta, però fa fatica di più rispetto alle altre due partite (stanchezza? Meno lucidità?). Scandicci fa fatica in difesa il muro a fasi alterne: bellissimi monster block, alternati a momenti di maggiore difficoltà di lettura (Santarelli ci mette lo zampino….) complice anche il livello di gioco velocissimo di Haak e Asia: sì una Haak devastante (probabilmente in questo momento/fase di stagione la migliore opposta al mondo), ma tutta Conegliano gira bene non più quei radi ma brutti erroracci e impone il suo gioco, Scandicci insegue sempre con un “coraggio e tenacia” incredibile, da plauso! Ma al 4 set è evidente il calo fisico e psichico, anche se all’ultimo Scandicci sembra nuovamente di essere in grado di fare un recupero dei suoi… Vedremo gara 4, comunque andrà sarà spettacolo! @@fabioarcuti Ciao Fabio, la Cook a mio avviso meglio soprattutto di gara 1, il resto l'hai detto tu molto bene, ma tutte hanno giocato ad altissimo "regime": Fahr, Lubian. Moki, nulla da dire Santarelli ha fatto il suo ha praticamente fatto mettere in forte difficoltà Zhu e ha velocizzato il gioco in maniera incredibile, variandolo (complice una Haak con cui si poteva fare tutti gli schemi del mondo....) e infine - punto che non mi stancherò mai di scrivere di fondamentale importanza- la battuta, finalmente aggressiva e i pochi errori fatti sempre giustificabili, perchè battutte spinte al limite... questi sono i 3 punti di "relativa" novità determinanti per la vittoria, infatti Scandicci ha fatto molto più fatica ad organizzarsi in difesa e quindi in controffensiva....

Stasera sale in cattedra una imperiosa Haak (il punto n.40, forse il 39?, lo piazza saltando senza rincorsa), che vede accanto una sontuosa Plummer con numeri prossimi all'opposto avversario..per dire..e poi mi hanno impressionato i primi tempi di Conegliano. Dall'altra parte la Kate ci prova sempre, i suoi aces li piazza, ma sparisce dinanzi alla imperiosa serata della regina svedese. Così pure a nulla serve la magica serata di una Herbots implacabile, corposa a referto. Gara 4 non potrò vederla...pazienza.. seguirò per quel che posso😢

Anche se conosco già il risultato, ne vale la pena. 1) Hai informazioni circa il valzer delle panchine di cui ho qualche sentore? 2) E che ne pensi della eventuale convocazione di Herbots in nazionale italiana che ipotizzo per gli anni prossimi? 3) Conosci la possibilità di vedere la finale Europea tra Imoco e Milonza usando la VPN e un sito turco come fosse raiplay? (potrei darti le informazioni per usare una VPN in modo legale e gratuito se tu non le conoscessi)
Partita equilibrata, anzi equilibratissima, infatti alla fine del terzo set Conegliano aveva fatto in tutto solo due punti in più di Scandicci. Purtroppo Scandicci ha subito ancora una volta un po troppo i turni di servizio di Conegliano battendo a sua volta un po troppo "facile". La differenza alla fine però, almeno secondo il mio punto di vista, l'ha fatta la grande prestazione della Svedese, e la "non pervenuta" prestazione di Zhu. Sabato sarà di nuovo una grande battaglia ma fossi in Scandicci sarei molto positivo per due motivi principali: 1) Haak ha giocato la sua miglior patrtita della stagione (ma forse anche della sua intera carriera) e di sicuro Sabato giocherà peggio; 2) Zhu per contro ha giocato forse la sua peggior partita della stagione e quindi di sicuro Sabato non potrà che fare meglio... 🤗🤗
Concordo. Negli ultimi due set mi è sembrato di rivedere la Zhu della prima parte del campionato. Per quanto riguarda Haak, è difficile stabilire dove finiscono i suoi meriti di e iniziano i demeriti dell'altra squadra ma guarda caso la prestazione mostruosa di Haak è coincisa con una linea di muro inedita per Scandicci.

Conegliano have a larger and stronger squad overall, so it will be difficult for Scandicci to beat them (but not impossible as we saw in Match 1). There is so little time to recover after each match for the players and you can see how tired they are physically. Scandicci always sticks to the same players with almost no rotation. Serve reception is definitely one of their weak spots and it cost them lots of points. Defense can definitely improve as well. Haak was incredible today, but that is also because of the great support she receives from Moki and Wołosz. Plummer was also able to contribute more to the offense today. I look forward to seeing how much Ekaterina Antropova will improve in the future. She seems like a promising player for Italy and I think she still has room for improvement. Experiences like this will definitely help develop her as a player. ( I hope she comes to VakifBank 💛🖤one day or play in Türkiye)
The real problem, Rin, was an ex-player: Zhu Thing, no one block, no service(a free ball to Conegliano), no spikes on the floor, neither a decent reception and a "Libero" and Mid-Players in wrong evening... All team Scandicci on the shoulders of Maya, Herbots and Antropova, in theses conditions, Scandicci had make an half-miracle to resist so long....

She is obviously also the target of the service line…and hebort while she was great in this game is not always reliable (like in other games). You could've picked another game to prairie Zhu ( who is a great player) : yesterday nite she was quite ineffective, average percentages and finally she got lost into Imoco's deep sea. And her reception was bad in 3rd set and even worse in 4th...
I knew Coneg would win this one on their home court advantage because they learned a hard lesson in game 1. They start to play with more seriousness and conviction. Haak is spectacular - one shot, one kill and I'm not a bit surprised if her pay check is twice in comparison to her teammate. Never underestimate the heart of the champion. Wolosz used more of the middle block to attack this time and it's more unpredictable for Scandicci to handle.

If there is no Zhu Ting, probably no place for Scandicci in finals. Zhu Ting got most points as a outside hitter in most matches, she is always been targeted by opponent's serves. This kind of pressure is not seen on other players. In 2nd match of final, Zhu received 42 serves, unbelievable. In this match Zhu also scored 12 points, not bad. Just she was replaced by coach in the 3rd and 4th set.
@@kangz4883 The decision to replace Zhu was right. She didn't play well yesterday, she made too many bad receive and her attack wasn't effective. Ruddins did well replacing her, but she made one crucial error in the last point for the 3rd set. They should've let her play the 4th set.

Conegliano con Haak (41 punti) e Plummer in formato deluxe. Scandicci può recriminare sulla febbre di Nwakalor che ha indebolito il muro delle fiorentine e, considerata anche l'assenza di Villani per infortunio, ha costretto Barbolini ad effettuare a una girandola di cambi per mantenere in campo il numero di italiane come da regolamento. Contenere Haak in stato di grazia si è rivelato molto difficile. Zhu Ting non era partita male ma poi si è spenta ed è sembrata quella del girone di andata, spesso criticata anche dal sottoscritto.
Si..concordo su ZhuTing 🥲...insomma, appena pensiamo si sia ripresa, la curva va giù..non mi è piaciuta ieri sera , quantomeno rispetto alle prime due gare🤷🏻♂️

Forse la pausa dell'estate scorsa non le ha fatto bene. Vedremo. Impariamo a conoscere le giocatrici piano piano, con il tempo. Ad esempio sto capendo che Herbots è una grande agonista che ha bisogno di forti stimoli, cosa che non è avvenuto a Novara, in panchina, o al Bisonte, squadra di metà classifica.

Se la avrà potrà scendere in campo come italiana nel club ma il discorso nazionale non è realistico. Per cambiare nazionale dovrebbe fermarsi per almeno tre anni e non credo sia quello che lei vuole.
Insieme con gara 2 di Novara contro Conegliano, la più bella partita di questo campionato. L'opposta di Conegliano Haak è stata straordinaria: la vedremo con la Nazionale svedese in amichevole contro l'Italia di Velasco al Pala Igor di Novara il giorno 8 maggio. Per Scandicci buona la prova di Antropova e del libero Parrocchiale, sciaguratamente esclusa dal nuovo CT che, purtroppo, è già partito con il piede sbagliato.

Chiaro che non è solo quello, difendono benissimo , non mollano mai e in attacco diciamo che è ancora Antropova a fare i punti e non prendo in considerazione solo l'ultimo match è stato cosi' in tutte e tre le partite. @@samazza763 se parliamo di servizio, allora la stessa cosa si può dire delle battute di Lubian e Haak che hanno sempre messo in crisi Scandicci. Il gioco di Conegliano e in genere delle grandi squadre della pallavolo moderna parte da un servizio potente ma poi ovviamente è anche altro, nel maschile e da qualche anno anche nel femminile. Senza offesa ma mi sembra un'analisi un po' parziale a differenza di altre che ho letto (vedi ad esempio quella di @Pedrito) . Le prime due partite sono state molto equilibrate, 10 set in tutto, nella terza ho avuto l'impressione che Conegliano abbia preso le misure in difesa e a muro agli attacchi di Scandicci. La febbre di Nwakalor e una Zhu in calo hanno fatto il resto. Vediamo cosa succederà stasera.

Conegliano non ha mai perso set nei quali era in vantaggio di 5/6 punti nella fase finale invece è capitato due volte in tre giorni, ed è successo entrambe le volte con una serie di Antropova. Non dico mica che Scandicci sia tutta li. non arrivi a giocartela con conegliano se non sei una squadra forte e completa. dico che quando c'è equilibrio un fattore puo' spostare l'ago. Non ne faccio una colpa per Scandicci ma un plus. Che dire partita ancora molto bella, ma non bellissima, perché, a mio modesto avviso:
già dal primo set si è capito che Conegliano stasera fosse più compatta, Scandicci parte un po’ in svantaggio con Nwakalor febbricitante (svantaggio che nel corso della partita si evidenzierà maggiormente), in compenso sfodera una Herbots delle migliori, purtroppo non bene Zhu (non ho ancora capito se Conegliano abbia fatto un affare il prossimo anno, solo il tempo ce lo dirà…), sostituita più volte da Ruddins, decisamente più concreta, ma certo non ai livelli tecnici offensivi della giocatrice cinese… Parrocchiale compie miracoli, anche tutte le altre giocatrici di Scandicci cercano di dare il meglio e lo fanno… Antropova sempre devastante in battuta, però fa fatica di più rispetto alle altre due partite (stanchezza? Meno lucidità?). Scandicci fa fatica in difesa il muro a fasi alterne: bellissimi monster block, alternati a momenti di maggiore difficoltà di lettura (Santarelli ci mette lo zampino….) complice anche il livello di gioco velocissimo di Haak e Asia: sì una Haak devastante (probabilmente in questo momento/fase di stagione la migliore opposta al mondo), ma tutta Conegliano gira bene non più quei radi ma brutti erroracci e impone il suo gioco, Scandicci insegue sempre con un “coraggio e tenacia” incredibile, da plauso! Ma al 4 set è evidente il calo fisico e psichico, anche se all’ultimo Scandicci sembra nuovamente di essere in grado di fare un recupero dei suoi… Vedremo gara 4, comunque andrà sarà spettacolo!
What can I say, still a very good game, but not beautiful, because, in my humble opinion:
Already from the first set it was clear that Conegliano was more compact tonight, Scandicci started a bit at a disadvantage with Nwakalor feverish (a disadvantage that will become more evident during the match), on the other hand he showed off one of the best Herbots, unfortunately Zhu was not doing well (not I still understand whether Conegliano has made a deal next year, only time will tell...), replaced several times by Ruddins, decidedly more concrete, but certainly not at the offensive technical levels of the Chinese player... Scandicci struggles in defense of the block in alternating phases: beautiful monster blocks, alternating with moments of greater difficulty in reading (Santarelli has a hand in it...) also thanks to the very fast level of play of Haak and Asia: yes a devastating Haak (probably at this moment/phase of the season the best opposing team in the world), but all of Conegliano runs well, no longer those rare but bad mistakes and imposes its game, Scandicci always chases with an incredible "courage and tenacity", worthy of applause! But in the 4th set the physical and mental decline is evident, even if at the end Scandicci once again seems to be able to make a comeback... We'll see game 4, however it goes it will be a spectacle!

@@fabioarcuti Ciao Fabio, la Cook a mio avviso meglio soprattutto di gara 1, il resto l'hai detto tu molto bene, ma tutte hanno giocato ad altissimo "regime": Fahr, Lubian. Moki, nulla da dire Santarelli ha fatto il suo ha praticamente fatto mettere in forte difficoltà Zhu e ha velocizzato il gioco in maniera incredibile, variandolo (complice una Haak con cui si poteva fare tutti gli schemi del mondo....) e infine - punto che non mi stancherò mai di scrivere di fondamentale importanza- la battuta, finalmente aggressiva e i pochi errori fatti sempre giustificabili, perchè battutte spinte al limite... questi sono i 3 punti di "relativa" novità determinanti per la vittoria, infatti Scandicci ha fatto molto più fatica ad organizzarsi in difesa e quindi in controffensiva....

Stasera sale in cattedra una imperiosa Haak (il punto n.40, forse il 39?, lo piazza saltando senza rincorsa), che vede accanto una sontuosa Plummer con numeri prossimi all'opposto avversario..per dire..e poi mi hanno impressionato i primi tempi di Conegliano. Dall'altra parte la Kate ci prova sempre, i suoi aces li piazza, ma sparisce dinanzi alla imperiosa serata della regina svedese. Così pure a nulla serve la magica serata di una Herbots implacabile, corposa a referto. Gara 4 non potrò vederla...pazienza.. seguirò per quel che posso😢

Partita equilibrata, anzi equilibratissima, infatti alla fine del terzo set Conegliano aveva fatto in tutto solo due punti in più di Scandicci. Purtroppo Scandicci ha subito ancora una volta un po troppo i turni di servizio di Conegliano battendo a sua volta un po troppo "facile". La differenza alla fine però, almeno secondo il mio punto di vista, l'ha fatta la grande prestazione della Svedese, e la "non pervenuta" prestazione di Zhu. Sabato sarà di nuovo una grande battaglia ma fossi in Scandicci sarei molto positivo per due motivi principali:
1) Haak ha giocato la sua miglior patrtita della stagione (ma forse anche della sua intera carriera) e di sicuro Sabato giocherà peggio;
2) Zhu per contro ha giocato forse la sua peggior partita della stagione e quindi di sicuro Sabato non potrà che fare meglio...

Per quanto riguarda Haak, è difficile stabilire dove finiscono i suoi meriti di e iniziano i demeriti dell'altra squadra ma guarda caso la prestazione mostruosa di Haak è coincisa con una linea di muro inedita per Scandicci.

Purtroppo la nazionale di appartenenza non le consente di ambire ad una beata cippa, dunque a livello di campionati nazionali questo gioiello non potrà mai scrivere il suo nome negli annali ed avere la gloria che merita, come tante altre leggende. Si tratta di rimanere a livello di club dove ha dimostrato che meraviglia è...detto questo, così sai che penso di lei, no..non è tre spanne sopra a Egonu, e neanche una, non è così straripante, così determinante..ma davvero se la giocano (ammesso che abbia un senso fare classifiche), tanto è vero che dopo i numeri che ha piazzato ieri, nel mio commento esordisco proprio con la battuta: robadaegonu!!!
