- Removing the gas tank from my 2004 sportster. I am sure it is probably the same for 2005 and 2006 models as well. Not sure about the previous models.. I am relocating the speedometer to the side mount position which will be mounted on the forks so this is a part 1 for that video as well.

Can you answer a question for me. I wanna replace my 05 Sportster tank that has a vent hose with an older tank that doesn’t. Can I just use a vented cap to take the place of a vent hose?
