Brian is fabulous! You try and do what he has been doing for 20 + years and see where you end up. He could've quit by now but he hasn't. I cannot wait until Vegas!
Even with Brian's vocal issues, I would be DEVESTATED if he ever decided to step down from the group. He is such a huge presence. I'm so glad he is pushing through even though I'm sure it has to be frustrating. Love that man so much!
Yea it is very hard for him ..the stress he must be under when performing must be dreadful ...most of what is causing his voice problems are in his head ..a form of mental illness if you like ..not easy to tell your mind to stop thinking about it .

Am I the only one who burst into tears whenever they sing? Like think of how much we've gone through, they've gone through. The ups and downs and now they're all married and have kids. Backstreet Boys will always and forever be my number one favorite boy and since the age of 4. I love these boys so much! ❤️
brians voice comes out in all full force when he sings acoustic. you can hear him actually sing. bc he aint yelling. but once the music played. i cud barely hear him. its like they did it on purpose. the boys still have his back. which is now his new style, so once the music played. his voice changed to sound effects. makes me love him more. and he has to sing higher and strain his vocals more. but it sounds better that way, when he doesn't have to sing lower. bc u can hear it in his voice. but, ill never give up on him. brian is the best. he leads his boys. most of the time. which is why i thought. it shudv stayed acoustic. it gives him a rest. btw, i just noticed something. if u watch brian close enough. u cud see the way he dances with the boys individually. i was laughing abt him w/howie mostly. lol howie told him to go away, back to his spot. hilarious dance during as long as you love me. esp when brian sings that high note. ofc w/nick behind him too :) i just thought most of the spotlight was on nick most of the time. it was fine. i adore nick. its just the camera angles and editing was real bad. u just know they arent true fans if u dont know what order the songs are sung in. and i love hearing brian sing. but when he does sometimes the cams werent on him. and that was the only thing annoying me. i love brian. just as much as i love kevin, aj, nick and howie. not necessarily in that order. but still. brian is their leader. he leads bsb and the boys know it. since kevin came back several years back. brian has his cousin to rely on him just as much as aj, nick and howie had since kevin left. backstreet is back, yes. but when brian sings. watch the others. they got his back. and that is called, respect. it just makes me love all of them even more. their fearless leader wont quit. and his fans know it. me included. ;)

I think Brian is trying. With his vocal issues, his voice comes and goes. There are times when he can hit those high notes and times when he can't because of his condition.
I'm glad you mentioned this, as on my FB timeline, fans have given all 5 their accolades (as they should, since they rocked the house last night), but didn't bother to mention how Brian's voice kept going in and out around the middle of the show. I will, however, commend him for being such a trooper for not giving up, and keep doing what he loves to do, despite this current challenge.

Joss, Brian desarrolló un problema en sus cuerdas bucales llamado disfonía (parálisis de cuerda vocal) desde antes de grabar el disco "IN A WORLD LIKE THIS" lo que ha hecho que poco a poco sus cuerdas vocales se deterioren, claro, a como dicen en los comentarios, el se ha sometido a diversos tratamientos, lo cual provoca que de repente se escuche la voz del Brian que solemos conocer. En la película/documental de ellos titulada "Show 'Em What You're Made Of" el habla un poco sobre ese problema.
así es el tiene un problema de disfonía se le endurecen los músculos alrededor de las cuerdas bucales y la voz se le corta o se le oye mal y es también un problema mental y x estrés ,ojalá pronto mejore y A.J yo lo escuché bien si acaso aveces grita mucho y se oye ronco más que de costumbre me imagino que por fumar también 😁
Y su anterior adiccion al alcohol, su voz era tan dulce. Brian sufre mucho stress por problemas en su matrimonio, la esposa lo manipula desoues de su infidelidad, es lo que lei.....

Brian is getting better. Yay! i loved them when I was 16, I love them at 36! 3 out of 5 are in their 40s. Still looking good, especially Howie.

What is his condition exactly? I love his voice but there's something different now, esp with the low register.
one of his conditions is vocal tension dystrophy the other is a neurological thing
