  • I used rice water on my face for 7 days and 7 nights and I was pleasantly surprised by the results! I definitely recommend using this technique but it would be better to use for a longer period of time.

    Buy an aloe vera leaf and use that pure gel twice a day for 5 days. I saw another young lady do this, and she had hyperpigmentation, and it cleared it up AND left her skin dewy moist! I bought mine and I will use it for the first time tonight.

    You should try pure food grade hemp seed oil as a cleanser. Then pure rosewater as a toner with tea tree or rosemary oil as a spot treatment. Simple DIY treatments are better then all those creams and skin treatments as its hard for the skin to process all those chemicals.. You are so pretty! Your vibe and personality is very sweet and gentle. Thanx for the great video :)

    The Oil Cleansing Method made the biggest difference in my acne prone skin & saves so much money. It's a 50/50 mixture of Organic, Cold Pressed: Castor (necessary) + Sunflower Oil. I chose Sunflower Oil because it's a light oil and it has very specific nutrients for skin. I no longer break out. I still have fun with DIY natural masks & toners and even make DIY natural make up! It's a lot of fun.

    Marlee, I LOVE challenges and before & after videos that SHOW RESULTS so thank you for sharing YOUR results. I made a Rice & Green Tea Toner / Spritz after watching your video but I used an ORGANIC Jasmine Tea bag for additional benefits & to help mask the "stinkiness". Your reaction to the scent was HILARIOUS, by the way. Anyway, I made a cup of hot green tea & added 1/2 cup of ORGANIC (Round Up/pesticide FREE) white rice and allowed it to sit 24 hours before straining the liquid into a glass spritz bottle. I try to avoid plastic & all chemicals because I have Lupus & I can control my flare ups by limiting my exposure to toxins.
    The fermentation will take longer because I removed the bacteria from the water by boiling it for the tea but I've already spritz the toner on my face, neck & decollete several times in the last couple of days (still smells like jasmine flowers) and I am AMAZED how much better my skin looks & feels so thank you for sharing this video! I'm older so I wanted to use high antioxidant green tea as the base liquid for ADDITIONAL benefits -- reduces fine lines & wrinkles, improves elasticity & tightens, reduces age spots & sun damage, detoxifies skin (draws out impurities) & reduces pore size. It's antibacterial so it heals & prevents blemishes and reduces inflammation. It also contains Vitamin K that helps reduce puffy eyes & dark circles.
    Antioxidants in green tea also promote hair growth (SCALP treatment). The catechins in it have 5-alpha-reductase inhibiting properties that help block DHT (Dihydrotestosterone), one of the key causes of hair loss but green tea and rice water while nutrient packed; do not leave MY hair very soft so I saturate my DRY hair in rice water or green tea to soak up their nutrients & then shampoo immediately. BTW: the best weekly conditioning hair mask that I have EVER used contains an egg yolk (high protein), buttermilk or yogurt, olive or avocado oil, (WELL MASHED) RIPE banana & a bit of honey. There are LOTS of directions online for this specific hair mask. THIS IS TRULY AMAZING for dry hair that's often frizzy in humid weather. Different masks do different things like feed the scalp while other's feed the hair.
    I'm looking forward to your next challenge and I am so glad to see our younger generation opt for natural DIY beauty treatments that NOURISH the body.

    • @ariv1813
      @ariv1813 Před 5 lety +3

      Alicia TheG u should dilute the tea tree oil, maybe add a few drops to a toner or moisturizer, hell even cleanser! Coconut oil that is unrefined is what will clog pores for acne prone or oily skin because of the long chain fatty acids in it, refined coconut oil is a betrr option because it only contains the medium chain fatty acids which are less likely to clog your porrs

    New sub. And, girl, I have had acne since forever, and still trying to find a cure. I tried alcohol and A&D ointment, and it worked, but I didn't really like putting alcohol on my face. I have had cleansers, and I still do, but I just found out earlier today that rice water can be used as a skin treatment, and thank you for doing this video so I saw someone who tried it. I wasn't really looking for one, but this is the first one I saw that someone used it as a skin treatment. I'm gonna try rice water for my hair and skin. I might even bathe in it. I heard it was good for your skin, not just your face, and that you could bathe in it.

      fanatsywriter 12345 use it like i do .put halp cup of rice with cup with cup and halp water .let it for 24 hours the get the water in your hair use a bucket and pour the rice water then collect the rest of water from the bucket and finish your hair washing with it ,you can leave it for 30 min or over night abd wash your hair.as for the remaning rice mix with mixer to make it smother then put it throw a stainer or colander i m not sure what it s called it s to filter it you ll get some liquide like milk now that s what you use on your face .if you like you can use the other rice mixer to exfoliate your face ,warning at first you will be super red then in the morning it will go away or after few hours. Sorry for bad english

    Update -- the Green Tea & Rice Water Toner did great UNTIL I used a store bought detangler on my hair that contains LOTS of chemicals that evidently got on my pillowcase from my hair and now BOTH of my cheeks have several painful pimples!! I haven't had a break out since I began the Oil Cleansing Method years ago. Anyway, I'm using Organic Aloe Vera Gel & Frankincense Essential Oil to shrink the inflamed, cystic pimples and they are going away quickly without new break outs. Oh, I immediately washed my hair and I changed my pillowcase! Lol!
    I REALLY wish I'd known about essential oils like Frankincense when I was younger to prevent acne AND WRINKLES (: BTW: I only buy essential oils from reputable sellers because 3rd party sellers on ebay & Amazon will rip you off. Essential oils are highly concentrated so most should be diluted but they are worth the investment because they last a really long time and can be used in many natural DIY skincare recipes that nourishes the skin without poisoning us.
    Frankincense Essential Oil has many health AND skin benefits!
    Reduces Scars - Frankincense Oil can make the scars and marks of boils, acne, and pox on the skin fade at a much faster rate. This also includes the fading of stretch marks, surgery marks, and fat cracks associated with pregnancy and delivery.
    Delays Aging - As a cytophylactic, Frankincense oil promotes regeneration of healthy cells and also keeps existing cells and tissues healthy. When you combine this aspect of frankincense oil with its powerful astringent capabilities, you have a potent anti-aging quality that frankincense oil is often used for. It can help you eliminate sun spots, remove micro-wrinkles around the eyes and cheeks, and generally tone and tighten skin all over your body, while simultaneously replacing old or dying cells with new and healthy ones!
    PLUS many additional HEALTH benefits -

    She's still young! Using that stuff, she may feel something, but I dont think she'll be able to see results until she gets older that is, if she is still using it. That will tell the truth on how well it works. - or not. As for quicker results, if she has skin issues, that may show evidence in a few weeks if it helps get rid of it. They say it grows hair, too. Those results will be sooner!
