Yeah, Super-Friends would be great, but there might be a rights issue, as it's currently airing on MAX , so they may not be able to get that show. Warner Bros/Discovery owns most if not all of the Hanna-Barbera library, but they don't even have Super-Friends on their cartoon networks, Cartoon Network and Boomerang, only on MAX. But, a lot of Hanna-Barbera shows are on MeTV Toons' initial line-up, so maybe there's hope down the road. My guess is that they're limiting who can air DC-based cartoons for now. @@ArtieArchives so When the Hanna-Barbera studio opened in 1957, the most inexpensive way to include background music in a film was to license a stock music library. Hanna-Barbera signed television deals for two very popular ones-the Langlois Filmusic library, “composed” by Jack Shaindlin, and the Capitol Hi-Q library, created in 1956 from the works of numerous composers, but updated by Capitol record every year. Ruff and Reddy cartoons used these libraries. So did three of the four seasons of The Huckleberry Hound Show and two of the three seasons of The Quick Draw McGraw Show. (Afterwards, Hoyt Curtin was hired by Hanna-Barbera to compose cartoon cues that belonged to the studio). studio). When the Huckleberry Hound DVD was released in 2005, Capitol still had rights to the stock music and a deal was struck to clear it for home video use. That soon changed. The music, as Earl explained, had reverted to the composers or their heirs, and trying to get it approved for DVD was thwarted by demands from two estates. He rather forlornly expressed the feeling the odds were against Quick Draw cartoons-at least the the ones with the Shaindlin and Capitol music-ever being released on home video.

I would love if they could get as many 80s “action” cartoons they can. Yeah I know they were glorified commercials for their toylines, but I loved them. I know stuff owned by Hasbro would be hard to get, but there are plenty of others they could go for. They could even have a 1 or 2 hour block of these shows weekday afternoons.
If you are talking about Sailor Moon, I don't think it will be added, as the dub that would be used would be the DiC dub, which is owned by Wildbrain, but Wildbrain does not have the license from Toei to release the dub (and they may never get it, as chances are Toei Animation would not allow the DiC dub and even the Cloverway dubs of S and SuperS to be legally shown ever again in favor of the Viz dub, which keeps the anime uncut and true to how it was shown in Japan). As for The Powerpuff Girls, it can happen (mainly the original series that premiered in the late 1990's), it will have to depend on whether or not Warner Bros. will allow their past Cartoon Network exclusive shows from that era to air on MeTV Toons (especially since CN is doing the Checkered Past block, which airs some of these classic Cartoon Cartoons).

@@KenyattaPowell-lb8ty Histeria is already confirmed to air (as it is part of the network's E/I shows). Garfield and Friends, I doubt will happen due to Viacom owning Garfield.
Instead of pleasing the needy, Cartoon Network became greedy😤
The new Woody Woodpecker Show from Fox Kids should air. they're already airing the original.
Jabberjaw? Isn't that the shark that's also in the show Jellystone?
I hope they will have the 80s Pound Puppies and Beetlejuice on.
Also earthworm Jim, original animaniacs and tiny toons!
beetlejuice will be airing! tiny toons needs to be added
It’s also missing Xiaolin Showdown, which was originally advertised for the network.
It's coming later
i saw! soon itll be on air!
Hong Kong Phooey is a fantastic choice. I really want to see if PlasticMan ever gets to see the light of day again. I know there are DVDs, and I have them, but they deserve a larger audience than DVD will reach.
I have both of those DVDs.
@@ruffian-wl1nd so do I, but it's just easier to have it on the TV...
MeTv Toons will rotate the schedules every 6 months and so on
maybe sooner than 6 months, maybe every 2-3 either or im pumped for the channel
Quick draw McGraw!
I’m sorry but they didn’t fix the music rights
@@Sometopcatfan01 What do you mean?
@@ArtieArchives DMS
it is advertisted however not in the immediate schedule
Batman the animated series one of the most popular cartoons of all time.
"The Superman/Aquaman Adventure Hour", "Spiderman" (1966), "Spider and his Amazing Friends", "Thundarr the Barbarian", and Filmation's "Flash Gordon" should be added.
What about static shock? Or maybe Yu-Gi-Oh? But I don't know I think Pokemon is overrated. Any thoughts on weather Pokemon is or isn't overrated? Please comment back.
im a huge pokemon fan myself, however i think the anime fell down after the first season
I would love to see Speed Buggy. wheelie and the chopper bunch.
Dynomutt, Dog Wonder.The Funky Phantom.
The Pebbles and Bamm-Bamm Show The Flintstones kids a pup named Scooby-Doo.The Perils of Penelope Pitstop
Super Friends. Justice League . Dexter's Lab. dragonfly The Addams Family animation series .tiny toons. the animaniacs Pinky and the Brain and some classic Superman cartoons
so all the hanna barbera shows is going to air on the network except for quick draw mcgraw it’s because they didn’t fix the music rights
and shows you just said in this video they will air them too
Just some I want to see are Thundarr the Barbarian, The Littles, Transformers, G.I. Joe, ThunderCats, and Inch High, Private Eye.
I remember Hong Kong Phooey. I saw it when it originally ran on Saturday mornings back when I was a kid. It would be cool to see it again.
I would love if they could get as many 80s “action” cartoons they can. Yeah I know they were glorified commercials for their toylines, but I loved them. I know stuff owned by Hasbro would be hard to get, but there are plenty of others they could go for. They could even have a 1 or 2 hour block of these shows weekday afternoons.
that would be sick!
Animaniacs, please
I remember Hong Kung Phoey. The character showed up in tv show Laff Olympics in 1976.
My wife is surprised the classic 1990s Sailor Moon and fhe original The Powerpuff Girls aren't in the lineup.
Maybe later on they will be added
The Super Powers Team: Galactic Guardians, MASK, The Mighty Heroes, Mighty Mouse, Heckle & Jeckle, Dinky Duck, Tarzan, Zorro, The New Adventures Of Batman
Jabberjaw kinda reminds of curly from the three stooges.
haha!
They need to add Jem, King of the Hill + old-skool anime shows they'd show on Nickelodeon back in the day.
Bring over Mighty Max!!
:20 "Without further ado, let's get right into the video."
:55 finally starts the list
They should alternate schedules every couple of months.
Agreed
I love Hong Kong Phooey 🧡🤎
Same here! Have a video coming out about hong kong phooey sometime tomorrow!
@@justzaveee163awesome just in time for the show’s 50th anniversary
Need to add a great sci fi cartoon from the mid 70’s early 80’s StarBlazers
Dungeons and Dragons.
hopefully they will add them sooner or later
I can't even get excited considering that where do u watch it without a antenna!( No spectrum, ahd frndly is not launch
frndly just announced they will be hosting the channel. you can also find antennas for 30 bucks on amazon. id suggest looking into the antenna man youtube channel and find the one that fits u best
I want to see the Alvin show from 1961 to air again on Metv toons
Id love to see baby Huey, TerryToon cartoons and Felix the Cat!
Felix!
We really need og boomerang bumpers back
They Should Add “The Quick Draw McGraw Show” and “The Ruff and Reddy Show” in HD on their Lineup! That Would Have been amazing!
There was a 60's Lone Ranger cartoon that was in syndication into the 70's that was great! I can that as a late night weekend addition.
I agree. There needs to be more superhero series. So far, the only ones now are Freakazoid, Underdog, and Krypto the Superdog.
Can't wait for the premiere
I want some Mighty Mouse on MeTV TOONS
THEY SHOULD ADD MIGHTY MOUSE, HECKLE & JECKLE AND FAT ALBERT. HEY!!!! HEY!!!!! HEY!!!!!!🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
They need to add classic rock band cartoon shows like Cattanooga Cats, Banana Splits and the Impossibles.
YES! agreed heavily

"Without any interruptions, let's get started! But first, an interruption!"
I said “without further ado”
My 10 cartoons that should be added.
1. Alvin and the Chipmunks 1983
2. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 1987
3. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe 1983
4. Fantastic Max 1988
5. She-Ra: Princess of Power 1985
6. It's Punky Brewster 1985
7. The Littles 1983
8. Cowboys of Moo Mesa 1992
9. The Snorks 1984
10. Dennis the Menace 1986
Oh 🙌. Definitely Cowboys Of Moo Mesa should be added to the line up. The other two shows on your list, It’s Punky Brewster and The Littles, I grew up watching. The Littles was a new show the year I was born.
Nice List. However, I doubt TMNT will be on MeTV Toons due to Viacom owning the franchise to the point where they do not want it airing on a network that is not theirs.
@@jeremyriley1238 Actually in an interview Black Nerd Comedy did with the president of MeTV Toons, it was confirmed that TMNT is on the list. They have a slot for it and they are working on getting it added. They said CBS and Paramount own the rights to TMNT, not Viacom.
I Think They Need to Air Garfield & Friends, The Garfield Show and the Garfield Specials on MeTV Toons As Well.
what about the Great Space Coaster does Metv have that the Rights to that show prob not im guessing
No, Hasbro owns the Great Space Coaster. they also own the My Little Pony, Transformers, Jem, and G.I. Joe cartoon rights
Jabbar jaw
I hope they add the Pink panther, Archie's mystery theater, Lizzie McGuire , recess
Thanks for the new information friend😊😢
Always welcome
Need some of fox old Saturday morning shows like Bobbie’s world
They Need To Put Maya & Miguel On METV Toons Because It's A Cartoon From The 2000's And Aired On PBS
maybe, i think they are trying to air older more retro cartoons but its always a possibility
This'll be like watching Saturday morning cartoons all over again, minus Schoolhouse Rock.
Pixie & Dixie and Hokey Wolf cartoons might appear within Huckleberry Hound or Yogi Bear shows.
This channel needs the mighty heroes and secret agent James hound
