If Thorpe made the smiler
True
Facts
True 😂
Lol true
It took a year to know what you meant
The block brake section to keep the track straight while smoothing is GENIUS!
I know right :)
A limited footprint forces you to get creative, I especially like doing it for wooden coaster designs.
Yeah it's so fun :)
Not sure what it is about making compact coasters, but they are so fun to make
They really are :)
This layout is really nice as its something I could see in the real world as a gerstlauer, maybe as a dock coaster similar to Galeforce but with a more traditional layout. Keep up the good work as always man, pleaser stopping by :)
Thanks, I like that idea :)
Tip- Watch a PoV of Wicked at Lagoon. You can see that the launch only goes to about 45°, and that the rest of the track that banks up to 90° is just normal cross beam track. Then only once the track reaches 90° do the LSM’s resume. In short, there is a small break in the launch track on vertical launch coasters, bear this in mins in future :)
Intamin have a continuous flat to vertical launch on Storm coaster I think, I can't remember:)
Love it!! The dive loop is shaped a little awkwardly and there are some jolts but this is incredibly smooth for PlanCo. I think, to be realistic to Gerstlauer, the last third of the ride could include corkscrews, zero g roll, and helixes, just low to the ground stuff. I understand the choice you made and love the coaster you created though! Very compact
It's mainly inspired by the Smiler and Saw that has more unique inversions compared to the obvious ones. Thanks :)
So excited!! Every upload is amazing, and this will be no exception!
Thanks so much :)
Honestly, this takes me back to rct3 on my iPad… and doing the 10x10x10 challenge where you had to build a wall/fence in a 10x10 and then build a coaster inside. Great upload!
That sounds like fun, thanks :)
this is what i look forward too every sunday morning, keep up the good stuff!
Thank you :)
The smiler: Hola, amigo.
The beginning reminds me of Karacho at Tripsdrill
For the converting technique (2m), after autocomplete, select the 2 portion and smooth then a bit before smoothing the track with 3 portion to have the original shapping when 4m.
I have been repeatedly checking for this upload all week icl
Love your coaster builds, great stuff!
Thank you so much, I've loved your builds for a while :)
I am really excited to see what you come up with!
Thanks, this one was so fun!
@@CorvusCoasters I have a thing for compact coasters, so I’m glad you did this challenge idea.
I LOVE CORVUS!!!!
Pro gamer tip:
You don't need to select the entire launch/brake/blocksection/station to change it's settings (launch speed, deacceleration, etc), selecting 1 element, as long as they're connected, will change all of them! This even works with some cross elements, like if you put a blocksection behind a brake, *I'm pretty sure* it also works, and will change both the braking stats on the brakes, and also on the block!
I thought I'd mention it since I've seen you select the entire thing a few times in your videos, I hope this helps you ❤
Cool, didn't know that. Thanks :)
@@CorvusCoasters no problem:)
Put at small section of straight track before you build the pre drop. It makes the turn look smoother
I'll look into this :)
This is nice! Good job
Thank you :)
Would love to see this on workshop to download 👌 this is amazing
It's on there now, link in the description:)
What would I search on Xbox for this?
It's on the Steam work
Cool
Great video, subbed can’t wait to see more!! Keep up the great work ❤
Thank you so much :)
Here’s a challenge for you, build a coaster completely underground with some theming. You can combine this to another challenge to make it more interesting if you’d like 👍
That would be interesting thanks :)
@@CorvusCoasters You’re welcome :)
Combine the last four videos into one challenge, compact, no inversions, under 50 feet, vekoma SLC
That would be insane haha :)
Some people will say this is rough.
But i say it rides like a Gerstlauer
hey i know u from the Theme Park Predictions live stream
@@munzFR :D
i love this sm
Thanks :)
Woow nice layout 👌🏼🎢👊🏼
Thank you :)
man i love ur videos
u make such good content and also ur videos are just flat out fun to watch.
Keep up the good work and let’s get u to 10k🎉🎉🎉
also how to u have the filled station instead of supports like that
I just used concrete pieces around the bottom, thanks so much, really appreciate it :)
If you want to experience a vertical launch go to lagoon amusement Park Farmington Utah, ride wicked the world's first vertical launch coaster
Challenge:
The best vekoma flying coaster but you have to have your screen upside down
What's the best invert in a 30by20 plot of land.
Also the coaster you just made is not a thrill coaster it's an extreme coaster.
That would be interesting haha, thanks for the ideas :)
this is such a good one!
Thank you :)
The new SLC from gerstlauer? Would be good to have an SLC replacer
The launch on anubis is absolutely wild, you've got to go to Plopsaland at some point
I really hope I can do :)
@@CorvusCoasters Anubis and Happiness the ride definitely makes it a worthwhile trip!
Nice 👌
Thank you :)
Have to upload this gem
Check the workshop in around 10 mins :)
The amount of overlaps is like blinking in a day!😂
It really is haha :)
You know Smiler etc. aren't Eurofighters right? It are Infinity Coasters, they are also in this game
Yeah I know, but this is a Eurofighter:)
You think you can release your graphics settings? 17:08 looks so realistic! Great work!
The while background is done using reshade and I run pretty much everything on medium/high with a RTX 3060
@@CorvusCoasters You think you could release your settings, they look beautiful.
For the game or reshade?
@@CorvusCoasters Your in-game settings.
Hi! I love your videos! Can you do a video that is a challenge to do a two coaster: like stampida in Portaventura?
A dueling coaster challenge could be fun :)
love you park can't wait for more
Thank you :)
@@CorvusCoasters you inspired me to get the game an start making some theme parks keep it up
When you have multiple track pieces selected, how do you quickly shift them down as you're smoothing the track?
Using the ACSE mod :)
Hey man I love your videos!
Thank you :)
Croissant 🥐
What item did you use to make your spiral catwalk leading up to the mid course??? I’ve been searching everywhere but can’t find anything
It's TMTK :)
Sorry for the essay in advance, but how do you make it so it’s smooth forward and backward instead of smooth all? Also how do you make everything white for those cinematics? Also on all of my coasters it doesn’t have 2m track etc. it feels like I’m on the console version even though I have steam version.
Smoothing is done with the ASCE mod. The white background is art pieces and reshade. You have to have v3 realism no limits mod for track less than 4m :)
@@CorvusCoasters ohhhhh I didn’t think about mods. Well thanks 👍
Hi Corvus! How do you come up with video ideas im trying to get into the youtube coaster community!
That's great! Most of them just pop into my head or are suggested by my viewers :)
Ur my fav youtuber❤😂
Thank you :)
I know I've mentioned it before, but do you'll reckon you wil try and build a coaster backwards like theme park wirral ?
Maybe not because it's already been done and I don't want to seem like I'm copying but it does look fun :)
Ok fair enough i get it
You can say you have been 'inspired' and then you might get away with it
You’ve to ride Flucht Von Novgorod in Hansa Park Germany it has the second fastet acceleration in the world
It does look amazing!
@@CorvusCoasters I have a question. Why is your smoothing different then mine?
ive been wondering how you get the forward and backwards smoothing system. i have the no limits mod from nexus mods, and im just wondering if there might have been another version or something that you use. or maybe its something in the settings and i just cant figure it out lol. is there any way you could help me out? also, the video was amazing as usual :D
It's the ASCE smoothing mod, there will be some tutorials on YT :)
when you do the 2m smoothing method how do you deal with the shakiness of the rider cam?
Just smooth it loads haha :)
Hi Corvus.
Is it able to build gold rush from slagharen in planet coaster ?
I put the rounds to 3 and used torque as rolercoaster but my coaster just don’t want to start/launch forward. Backwards my roller coaster drives fast.
I saw your tutorial on triple launched coaster. Btw I’m on ps5 not on pc.
Sry for my shit english
You can only do this with the Torque coaster type on the lapping mode I think :)
saw the ride is smooth, idk what u are talking about
No it's really not haha
I'm struggling tounder stand what a dive loop is
You rise to the top of a hill but then twist upside down and go back to the ground under yourself, just Google some photos:)
how do you get the smooth forward smooth back and burst smooth? also the higher acceleration speeds on Lsm launches?
Using the mods in the description, NoLimits mod and ASCE smoothing mod :)
@@CorvusCoasters thank you very much
I regret not getting this game
Still a great time to buy it :)
Can you do that smooth forewords & backwards thing on console?
It's using mods so pc only unfortunately:)
Is the sea serpent roll a blueprint inversion in planet coaster or do you have to custom build it ?
I've custom built all of these :)
You are very good at custom building inversions
I'm crap haha
It took me ages to realise you had to use the banking offset lol
And I think I may have accidently invented an inversion. It was like a heartline / flatspin but it was more drawn out I don't know 😂
Though I have had an idea for an inversion on purpose.
Imagine a cobra roll except half way through you turn the way.
I have tried to recreate my idea in text to make it easier to understand
Normal cobra roll:
\_/
My cobra roll:
\_
\
IS That already a thing?
I have never installed mods for planet coaster. How do you do it?
There are loads of good tutorials on YT I can't explain it in words :)
@@CorvusCoasters ok, thank you
How can i make my station to this beton style?
I'm not sure understand what you mean. I normally just surround my stations in concrete pieces for these challenge videos. If you want to theme them then check out my park series videos :)
@@CorvusCoasters okay ty
how do you got 2 meter pieces?
You can only do this with mods on pc :)
