Pulse Percussion In The Lot 2017
95% of comments- that tenor player is huge
5% of comments- I like their show this year better than last year
Quads are nuts and that closer is hype af
There needs to be a Vic Firth: Learn The Music thing for this because that marimba part is awesome
The GE on this show is off the charts I swear
My favorite Pulse show of all time- hands down!
6:28 oh my god.
favorite show
This is a unique style of sweet marching percussion literature that was performed with love and so much talent. PLEASE feature the cymbals alot more though, they're not given their time to shine like the rest of the line.
Wonderful show and keep chopin.
I also think 3 electric keyboards is unnecessary, when the actual Marimba, Vibraphone, Xylophone and orchestra bells are doing a BADASS JOB without electricity as WE ALL CAN PLAINLY SEE.
Honestly, at least in my opinion, a lot of the electronics add another musical element to the show that isn't featured in the lot.
What you got to understand is the three keyboards cover the wider spectrum of high mid and low from a sustained standpoint. Without them, the only sustaining instrument you have are the vibes and kind of the bells. And they only really cover the higher range. So they are very much necessary.
I love this Show.Love you Pulse.
Awesome piece and performance!
I love pulses snare book year after year it is so groovy
Center tenor looks like dywane "the rock" johnson
Look up Fever Ray and the song If I had a heart because it sounds just like the beginning of this show!!! Amazing
Lecraeisawsome I need to know Haha. I haven't seen the song name anywhere on their show or referenced. Confirmation in need!!!
Could you guys transcribe the snare solos ?
At 1:14 the third snare from the left looks like the lead singer for crown the empire
There was so much parroting in that bass feature that I that I was watching POW
No spec of dirt on that quad break
god that tenor feature at 2:09 is insane
No 60fps?
All these guys were throwing up minutes before going on stage for finals performance, because the church they were practicing at had bacteria in the water. During rehearsal these guys kept running off the field to the bathrooms and loosing their lunch
Honestly should’ve gotten first place
What brand of sticks do they use?
Vic Firth - that’s why this video is on Vic Firth’s CZcams channel.
I see Mario profita From the blue Knights
2016The blue Knights 2016 opener was the most intense version I ever saw of a blue nights
I appreciate the talent, but I hate the whole costume/make up thing with indoor. Oh, and the bobble head thing drives me nuts.
NumB sKuLL then watch dci. Indoor is supposed to have production and be theatrical. It's literally called the sport of the arts.
MrTwinkster123 Maybe I should have been more clear. I don't hate uniforms. I don't even hate costumes. I guess I just hate the cookie cutter mannerisms almost EVERY line has these days. There are certain head moves that players do these days and I want to scream every time I see it. It's almost like they practiced the bobble head moves in the mirror as much as they practiced doing flams. As far as the playing, the music is light years better than 20 to 30 years ago. I enjoy the talent, and the music. But there is an element that I wish would disappear overnight.
@@programmedwrong3795 It's almost as if they put care and attention into EVERY element of the show, not just the music.
programmed wrong bruh thats literally part of the activity you wonder why everyone does it its just something they do and honestly it would be more boring without it seeing the expression and how the players are feeling the music is one of the best parts in my opinion other than the music and such, its all a part of the performance and the activity
Huge tenor player walks into last pulse audition camp... "I want center"
Pulse staff.."yes sir"
OdisTx when he doesn't take no for an answer
OdisTx lmao
