Tina this is a wonderful idea....can be sent to absent family members for Christmas...to have them write down all their favorite memories of Christmas' past.

Sorry just had to say I love these glue books, As a child I remember finding ones my mum and grandma did and loving them. I think that’s part of the reason I love paper craft. I hope mine bring just as much joy to my grandchildren . Loving this, happy memories, thanks Tina.💕💕💕💕💕

Loving the start of the glue book folio. Eclectic is my thing. The ladybugs, as they are called here in the US, are my favorites. They are said to be the bringer of good fortune. Thank you for the inspiration and the new Digi kit.

I fought and I lost, I was not going to watch your glue book series as I am concentrating on Christmas and learning how to collage and now I failed. I am wanting to play at this now. No will power at all. I love your glue book and wow to just the inside cover and 1st page. I would have been faffing about for hours before I glued anything down. Love this project tons!! Creative way to make a glue book for a particular trip or vacation. Not rmtoo bulky and room for journaling and keepsakes like ticket stubs and things. Yet another kit to add to my alligator shopping cart. 😄 TFS Tina! S🤗❤

Wow ,,, loving your small glue book which I've never done any, but maybe I could give this a try since it's a little smaller. I love all the folio's that you have made. Never can seem to figure out how to make all the flaps go in different directions, oh well with practice LOL it may happen one day. Love your favorites they are very pretty and as always Thanks for sharing another great tutorial!!!!

Hi Tina, I love tbe lady bird story. My husband painted bightly coloured balloons on one wall of his room before he was born. Years later he said how scary they were because he was afraid a scary clown would come for t be balloons. Miffi

Wonder how many kids were traumatized by clowns given as gifts, in some form, from well meaning and loving adults. 😀 My husband commented that he was scared of the elf head cookie jar that sat on the kitchen counter when he was a child. Hopefully no one ever recited the old bedtime rhyme to your daughter. You know “goodnight night, sleep tight, don’t let the bedbugs bite”. Now that would have been terrifying. Lol. Love the glue book. TFS
Lol, yes what is it with some of those sayings? I think probably lots of kids were terrified of the gifts they were given (some dolls are pretty horrible too) and things around the house, like the cookie jar lid. X

Lovely as always. Tina, I don’t know whether you’ve done this but I wonder if you could help those of us who are technically challenged and just do a short information section about how to resize images so they are larger or smaller and two pages on one etc etc. That would be soo helpful!

Thank you for the definition, I actually think ladybug makes more sense than ladybird..........but I am used to calling them ladybirds x
I love watching you putting the pages together - would you say there is any difference between collage & the pages in a glue book?
I think a collage can be more random in its final appearance whereas for me the glue book style would form almost like a picture, but that is possibly just my interpretation x

I , myself, still wondering what the difference between a glue book from different JJ artists, now, I know your version of what defines a glue book...🙂...flat, not much layers, and ,so far, not so much lace and material...but , still very pretty....😻

I quite like the term ladybugs funnily enough 🙃. Yes I had a real struggle a couple of months ago trying to incorporate lots of flaps, it was just way too confusing! I pick up stamps at car boot sales, anywhere I van find them really x

You call them lady birds we call them 🐞 ladybugs. Knowing the proper English folk I suppose they don’t want bugs in their homes hence the lady bird. No offense meant. I mean a bug and it flies. An excuse to say bird. Most wouldn’t want to put bugs in a kids room way back when in the 1800’s
Funnily enough, I think they are much more commonly referred to as ladybugs, we over here seem to be in the minority 🙃 x
