No matter how shit of a day I have, I just pop on the Flagrant 2 YT channel of Spotify page, scroll down and tap a random episode, and within seconds my anxieties wash away and I am hugged and warmed by the sincerity and reality of these people. Mortgage Loan Officer here. Akash is 100% right. The way the housing market “fails” is first time homebuyers will never be able to afford a home when prices and interest rates are both high. It will force a correction in the market where values need to drop. I think it will be a small drop, nothing crazy like 2008. Since the issue isn’t bad loans but instead expensive homes the drop will be voluntary by the sellers when they realize the amount of buyers in the market is smaller.
