Resurrecting An Abandoned Farm Irrigation System (pt 3)

The property I bought several years ago has what appears to be a derelict well and commercial-sized irrigation system. I have zero experience with either, but would like to get it up and running as there are many acres to which I would like to get water. There are several places with what appear to be standpipes some with barbed fittings, some with threaded fittings and some have solenoid valves that apparently were run from a sprinkler timer. There is also evidence of a drip irrigation system that was once used but looks to be almost completely destroyed.
This is a multi-part video series that documents my attempt to learn how and if the system works, and if it does not work how I go about troubleshooting the issues. At this point there appears to be a lot of digging involved, therefore I'll be leaning heavily on the front end loader on my Kubota B2301 compact tractor.

In this episode (Part 3) after much digging in the wrong place I had managed to find the exact location of the break I had found at the end of Part 2. Excavation of the area showed that the main line running out to remote parts of the property had a large section missing and was quite evident the damage had been done by a tree spade harvesting trees. When trying to repair this break I discovered there were several more along the line. Eventually it required cutting a path through a stand of trees in order to locate all the the damaged areas of the pipe out to a junction in the system. Instead of continuing to dig up damaged pipe beyond that point I instead switched gears and decided to plug the system at the first break in order to run the pump to see if the system would hold up to that point. After that, then go back to diagnose and repair the remainder of the system.
