Brother, I'm not sure how you lived before, but seeing how holistic you are, both spiritually and mentally is awe-inspiring. You're living a life of Zen and your mind, body, and spirit seem to really be aligned and I'm inspired, as-well-as motivated so much more on a whole other level because of this video. Since watching your video, I've literally went out and bought facial skincare, upgraded my body wash, and finally bought a new set of hair clippers. I too do my own hair. I've also signed back up at the gym, especially the ones with pools as I need to start easy and smooth my way back to heart health. I was diagnosed with CHF (Congestive Heart Failure), a few years back, and it really got the best of me. Having Baby #4 almost a year ago now, the urgency to do better, be better, live better, get better has gone up to a whole other level.
I've even gone through my music playlists and I've found that I gravitate to a certain genre for fitness and picked the tracks out for the gym. I've found that I've gravitated towards another genre that has always helped me stay strong and positive as well, and I've now organized the music in a playlist as well. Music has always been a breath of life for me, from surviving the streets, to winning Martial Arts Championships, and especially overcoming obstacles in life. I'm bringing music back into my life. My Littles actually have the same tastes in music as me, so that helps a lot.
I will also be trying new things, new adventures, new journeys, and although I'm already an awesome Daddy and Husband, I know that they can definitely use a whole different, and accelerated version of Daddy. Just this past January, I started Monk Mode as well. By that I mean, I've gone in dark mode (hiatus), on Social Media (Facebook, Twitter "X" and others), with the exception of IG just to let people know I'm alive, but I also have plans to use IG to help promote music, positivity and more, in addition to people holding me accountable.
