When I sing "A" and go higher each time there is a point where I am in the middle of my head and chest voice and not only does my voice crack but im also not able to produce sound
my problem with sing higher is that it gets extremely breathy. Is that bad and if so, how can I fix it? Also, is there a way to increase your vocal range?
Wow! What a great video! I learned so much. This was so helpful. I didn't realize what a huge difference it can make to simply pronounce words you are singing in a different manner--- as you describe--- dark rather than light. I am able to sing songs I was "STUCK" on for choir, church... just with this one lesson. It changed everything. Thanks for your lessons. Love it!

I also been having a hard time finding my true voice per say because I follow other singers styles which doesn't of course work for me. So how can I find my voice while singing other artist songs?

I've trained my self to never sing with a brightened vowel cuz it's what I was tought and I think that it's why my voice sounds so mature for my age 17
That is a great tip also I have found over the years if you learn how to sing from the diaphragm for breath control and learn how use your facial mask that helps you reach higher also.

Its great to hear that you're still learning to sing! Hmmm... I'm not sure. I do know that acid reflux is bad for your vocal chords because the acid from your stomach literally eats away at the tissues but I'm not sure what the long term effects of bulimia would be. If in doubt, see your doctor and drink plenty of water when you're singing. :)

I've noticed when singing if I have some type of background noise, usually white noise such as running water or my bathroom fan, I'm more relaxed and sing better and higher without a lot of struggle. Ever hear anyone say this before? It seems that when I'm singing otherwise I tend to pull chest and sing more off pitch. Weird.

yup... like I can sing in head voice, and in chest/mixed voice, but I can't go up and down between them in a continuous manner. My voice cracks.

i always get dizzy when singing higher as well
when you changed to the darkened vowel it seems like your voice became lower even though that was the higher not.

You were using a disconnected register/false voice. You should connect it to ur register(head voice or mixed voice).
Whenever you sing high, try to avoid blowing air too much and make the sound solid as possible, and thin out your sound as it goes higher.
