What if the Bronco's engagement lever is on the left side of the dash next to the steering wheel?

I paid 50 bucks with tax in TN. Thanks for making the vid. mine has a rubber boot that will not go through that hole very well.

Mine has a problem of being engaged in the off position and disengaged in the on position
Curious if you got this fixed within 4 months but,I noticed on mine I have two bars on the deck that sway during engagement. I wonder if your spring could be attached to the wrong bar?
Mine has tension but down where the aping is it vey slack and doesn’t pull the aping well enough. Is there a way to tighten it?
No, I don’t think you can tighten it. It sounds like you have the wrong part, or something isn’t connected right. Good luck!
