- Psyclonesteve passed away on 28.09.16 having fought a brave battle against a brain tumour. During the past two years although he was unable to ride, he has continued filming and editing his and other peoples video's. Every video on this channel is of things that he loved.
This channel will continue in his honor and keep his memory alive.

I am thrilled to read that you are keeping Steve's channel open - it's such a fitting tribute to one of the nicest gentlemen I have ever had the privilege to know - It goes without saying that his online fans will miss him greatly, but of course for all who have known him as friend and family we are so lucky to have been touched by his happy and fun-loving approach to life and to everything that he was passionate about. Ride in Peace Steve, and keep on filming :-)

I am so saddened to hear this. I had some communication with him over the last couple of years. He actually sold me one of his roller coaster toys for my now defunct Roller Coaster Model Museum that was located near Kansas City, Missouri. I still have it and will always keep it in memory of him, and now understand why he was willing to part with it...I love all of his videos and was a subscriber and will continue to be. To his family, friends and all those who loved him, my deepest condolences and may his memory always be for a blessing.
Hello Randal, Thank you for your message, I hope your museum is doing well. Steve was so pleased that you had the toy roller coaster. It was bought for our grandchildren but he would not actually let them play with it !! He leaves a big hole in our lives, but they have all been enriched by having him in them.

Hi Sharon. I am glad to hear that, and he conveyed that to me as well. Sadly, the museum closed last year in September. I have kept everything toy wise (I have a large collection of vintage and contemporary roller coaster toys). When he sent it it wasn't working, which he had told me beforehand, but I did get it working properly. If you send me a private message, info@modelcoasters.com, with a personal email, I can send you a picture of it on display there with the other toys. My hopes are to create a traveling exhibit with my models and toys in the near future. And even if that doesn't come to fruition, I will keep it forever, which was my plan if the museum didn't work out because my roller coaster toys are my pride and joy. When I leave this world some day, my intention is to have them donated to some museum, and I have already documented how I acquired each of the toys. As you can see from the comments, Steve was well known around the world for his wonderful videos, so on behalf of the enthusiasts community I think I can say for all of us, we are saddened by his loss, but also, so grateful for all of his wonderful videos which include many lost coasters. His passing is trending news right now on many enthusiasts websites and Facebook pages, including screamscape.com's Facebook page (which I'm sure he read, most of us do) as well as many others. You should know, we loved his videos and how WELL KNOWN his CZcams page was and how OFTEN enthusiasts sites shared his videos because they were interesting and well done. So, he has left a lasting mark on something he loved and was passionate about. Though not as much as he loved you, I'm sure.
Very sorry for the loss of Steve. Always enjoyed the videos on this channel and the Joy that Steve brought to them. He will most definitely be missed. - Gregg

I just heard about this on screamscape. I'm so sorry for your loss. I absolutely loved watching all of his videos. Being in the US, we don't get to see some of the really unique dark rides and coasters that he was always showing. Much love and support to your family from the US.

Been watching for years and thanked him many times for his work. I even got some personal replies from him. Seemed like a nice fellow. Thanks for sharing your passion with us Steve, I know you enriched my life and I thank you for that.

It saddens me to hear this news. Steve was such a nice guy to talk to and I loved all of his videos, especially his love for ghost trains.
