- Paradigm: Shifting Towards Greatness tells the Jett Lawrence story like no other, and what an incredible story it is. 2023 began with the young Australian phenom claiming his fourth consecutive title with the 250 West Supercross Championship, adding to his two 250 Motocross Championships from 2021 and 2022, as well as his 250 East Supercross Championship of 2022. It was the end of a truly remarkable 250 career for the likeable 19-year-old, yet what was to come next was even more remarkable.
We sat down with Jett himself, along with father Darren “Dazzy” Lawrence and Honda race team manager Lars Lindstrom, to get some firsthand insight into one of the most inspiring athlete stories in recent motocross history. Watching Jett’s debut 450 outdoor season unfold in the manner it did was nothing short of incredible, and Paradigm aims to tell that story in a way that shows how Jett truly is the paradigm shift that will see our sport evolve to higher levels than ever before. It also aims to highlight the special bond that keeps the Lawrence family grounded along the way as both Hunter and Jett navigate their way through the upper echelons of our sport.
The Lawrence family as a whole is making its mark on our sport in so many ways and Alpinestars could not be more proud to be part of the journey and success that both Jett and Hunter have already achieved and will continue to achieve long into the future. Enjoy the film!

What a season I got up in the early hours of every Sunday morning to watch Jett's perfect season from here in Australia. Our new Dog is called Jettson there was no other name it could be after such an awesome year!

Jett Lawrence is like watching Michael Jordan playing a pickup game he's just on a different level his technique is flawless and his mindset is getting stronger he is an absolute phenom. we have to give credit where credit is due jett Lawrence absolutely deserves all the credit that he's getting!

^This. The family is where many achieve greatness. I think the single biggest problem in my country (USA) is that we've broken the family by a country with no culture and a materialism that put it priority over the family.
You need money to be like them....most people cant even afford to put their kids in motocross this is not a sport for the poor!
@@johntomasik1555 In USA most families couldnt afford motocross if they tried! this is not a sport that just anyone can do! Sure anyone can buy a dirt bike but it take so much time dedication & money for this sport there is a reason only a select few make it through! TONS of riders out there better than these guys they just cant AFFORD IT!
@@2stroketyson79 how do you know they had money to begin with and if they gathered some to start what makes you think others can't. Their history isn't exactly that of tycoons.
He is poetry in motion. I could watch this kid ride a dirtbike all day.
I'll never forget his battle with Dillon Ferrandis at Anaheim 2 in 2020, where he gave it his absolute all and then sent it into the face of a double knocking himself out. I think that night he proved to the world that he was here to be an all time great.

Yes. That was the first I’d seen him and watching him go all out like that was one of the most exciting moments I remember. Such a good race. If he hadn’t crashed he woulda had him.
The way Hunter and Jett are as brothers is so incredibly amazing!!! I wish I had a brother like them when I was growing up. Now I’m working on my children always being each other’s biggest fans 🙏
The dude is an inspiration! Reminds me of James Stewart, just absolutely crazy watching him ride, so smooth and acts like it’s nothing!
"Smooth" wasn't Stewart. Windham was smooth. Stew was simply just aggressive and fast. Jett looks much different than Stewart.
@@johntomasik1555 Stewart on Suzuki in SX was incredibly smooth, and even besides that he was a mix of fluid and aggressive

@@2stroketyson79 it's the bike control and level of finesse over obstacles, if you watch anything from 2014 when he was on Suzuki he looked incredibly smooth and fluid. Aggressive yes, but he's not a guy that spins the rear tire constantly losing traction, he floats over obstacles and finnesses the bike, he's just prone to poor decision making and crashing
again he looks nothing like a barcia
Jett is more of a Windham/Everts though with the bike skill/control of Stewart

You can't help but love these boys. I am so proud to have been a part of the Moto community and to witness this. Carmichael says it best this is generational talent. And he's just getting started
My wife and I drove 10 hours to Budds Creek and were able to meet Jett and Hunter at the Honda tent and I was able to get Jett’s fender from his mechanic Christien before we headed home. Truly a day we will never forget!
Such an inspirational family. As a Aussie I couldn't be more proud of Lawrence's representing Australia and most importantly just representing the sport we all love so much 👏 A family we all should aspire to be more like. Classy🙌

I'm still trying to figure out how being any nationality really applies. Seems like Jett, and especially his family, are great people. His parents are fantastic mentors. His big brother learned from them, and he helps coaching Jett along. There are many riders on the planet who, given that family environment, have dominated. Carmichael was one of them. In fact, if you look at the dominant guys, they almost always come from a solid family. It has nothing to do with the place they were born.
@@johntomasik1555 some things you mentioned are correct but don't forget the culture and values of that culture behind them. Have you seen many Indians or even Japanese people achieve that height of individuality in this sport? Is this a coincidence? Rhetorical.

I'm a Haiden Deegan fan. Jet Lawrence is on another level. He is a freak of nature. He flows so gracefully around the track. I have never seen anyone in tune with their bike and ride so effortlessly.
I haven't kept track of racing for a few years. The Lawrence brothers brought my interest back.

Best shot was the way Jett reacted to the little girl who was obviously less fortunate than he was........this is the emotional humanity side of the Lawrence Clan......and I love the slow mo, the number of times Jett almost goes down but saves it with cat like reflexes...beautiful to watch.

A man named Dazz sells his pride and joy. His drag car. He uses the money to buy his young boys mx bikes and gear. This was far from his last selfless act, and as years of hardship and time went on eventually great deeds were bestowed opon him. There is a lesson there to be learned. thanks to the whole Lawrence Family for the inspiration.

All the pressure is off Jett. A perfect season had been done 3 times and he’s got it in his back pocket. We all know he’s not winning every heat going forward what ever he does will pale in comparison to this year. He is free to ride winning some and losing some. I believe he is going to shatter the record books.

I grew up in the Bob Hanna era. Those days were killer for motocross/ super cross. I haven't been this involved with MX for a while. The Lawrence bros are great for the sport. Don't forget Degan either, that family is great for the sport too!

I promise you, the FIM and their "tracks of equality" hates to see one guy dominate. I know another 15 championships is a long way away, but i am almost ready to crown a new GOAT now because I thought it was impossible to dominate a series again on these "tracks of equality".

I have to say that Dad is not 100% correct by saying that is just Jett!!! Nope that's because of how he was raised and the way his immediate family is. Y'all are super stars. Look at all three of those amazing kids. The family sacrifices and bond they have. 70% at least of what jett has become was bestowed in him over the years by his up bringing. The other 30 is his natural god given talent, hard work, love, and dedication to the sport. Your whole family has changed this sport for the better. Thank all of you (Lawrence's) for your life long sacrifices and dedication to your family and our beloved sport.

When the idol of your sport is a 20 year old kid for me at 55 it means a lot.
The Laurence family is a true inspiration not just for the sport but in life in general.
For my 9 year old son, Jett is the best role model for him on and off the track

Jett's style is just fantastic ,he makes it look so easy ,just like Stefan Everts did he's almost a carbon copy of SE72.Long may it continue for Hunter and Jett .
Amazing technique one of those shots Jett was half way down the start sraight front wheel perfectly floating above the dirt still not rotating. Another shot lands what looked to be cross rutted into a corner but no panic, no foot dab just stayed with it and barely lost time. 2024 is going to provide some wicked racing.
